Lahat ng Kabanata ng Surrogate For the Mafia Boss: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

Lorenzo’s POVI arrived at one of my clubs, the loud music already vibrating through the walls the moment I stepped in and was greeted by my favourite place of debauchery. I walked past a few of the dancers and they were all quite busy. Just last week, in this very same place, I attended a meeting called the Occasion.“Talk about the most friggin annoying meeting.” I muttered to myself. It was basically the underworld's heavy hitters who had gathered to talk about our territories and family matters. We were clearing up our agenda for the month when all of a sudden, they had put me on the spot, asking when I would remarry. I hated it. I had no interest in going through that again, and I definitely wasn’t looking for love. My ex-wife had made sure of that. They kept butting in where it was completely unnecessary.“Come on, Lorenzo,” my right-hand man, Leonardo, said, following me and interrupting my thoughts as well. “You know those old men won't let up. You need an heir for the orga

Valerie’s POV The moment I opened my eyes, I forcefully kept them shut. It was as if the lights were trying to friggin blind me. I slowly tried again and it hurt even more. “Shit.”I rested a bit and then tried. It hurts less now. I noticed that the walls were painted a soft cream, and the bed I lay in was covered with a white blanket. The bed was also very soft and it looked like all those master bedrooms one saw on TV. Confusion washed over me. Where was I? Had I been kidnapped? Panic bubbled in my chest, and I quickly pushed myself up, looking around. “I have to fucking get out of here before I get kill–”“Miss Valerie, please wait!” a voice called out as I swung my legs over the edge of the bed. Giovanni , Lorenzo’s right-hand man, who has helped drag out that perv from the club last night stepped into the room. “Hold on, what are you doing here?” I asked, my voice shaky as I tried to control myself. If he was here, that would mean that Lorenzo was here as well and he could h

Writer’s povAllesia was not bothered about how it happened, what mattered to her was the amount involved because she knew how much pain Valerie had been through, she even felt grateful to Lorenzo for forcing her to do what was done because she knew that Valerie would have never agreed.“Thank you.” Allesia said to Lorenzo when he handed the cup of coffee to her in the hospital hall. In as much as Allesia was pleased with the present situation she was still worried about her best friend and she needed to know the kind of man that was taking her friend away.“She said your name is Lorenzo.” Allesia said to him sounding a little timid because she was speaking to someone weigh above her league.“Is this some sort of interview?” Lorenzo asked. Allesia immediately dropped her cup of coffee beside her and turned to look at Lorenzo.“The only reason why I agreed to let her be with you is because of the huge amount you are willing to offer her and now I feel like a horrible friend for allowing

Valerie’s povAfter contemplating for a while I finally decided to go join him downstairs with his daughter. I didn’t know if I was doing the right thing but if I don’t go now I might end up seeing the side of him that I hate seeing.“Look who’s finally decided to join us.” Lorenzo said the moment he saw me downstairs, I didn’t say anything, instead I sat down on the dining chair and stole a glance at princess Anna.“Daddy, you still haven’t told me who she is.” Anna said to Lorenzo, although I was curious to know what he was going to tell her, I acted like I didn’t care about it.“Anna, remember our agreement the other day, daddy’s business shouldn’t bother you.” Anna didn’t care anymore after hearing what her dad said. I couldn’t help but envy their relationship, seeing both of them together made me realize how unlucky I really am to have the kind of father I have.I never knew a father and daughter relationship could be this beautiful. Seeing Anna and her dad being so sweet towards

Writer’s pov“You think I can’t do it?”“Well if you can you wouldn’t be so scared about your dad killing you.”Valerie was dumbfounded when she heard what he said because he just said the truth. Lorenzo realized that she had already cooled off. So he decided to speak calmly to her.“Why are you so stubborn?” He asked her as she was feeling weak resting her head on the wall.“You don’t know anything about me?”“Well, I know enough to be sure that your dad is not a good person.” Valerie raised her head angrily to look at Lorenzo when she heard what he said.“Don’t you ever say that about my dad again.” Lorenzo was confused, he was wondering why Valerie defends her dad so much when he’s obviously not a good dad to her.“Why? I mean why are you so defensive about your dad?”“He raised me even though it wasn’t very easy for him so I should be grateful, if my mom hadn’t left he wouldn’t have turned out to be so pitiful and frustrated, she’s the cause of everything.”“Don’t you think your m
