So, all of a sudden we had the urge to hire me a bodyguard. I couldn't resist his charm and we had an affair for like two days. I've never been in to trouble before we hired him but I don't have a normal day after hiring him. Sometimes I get suspicious about this weird paradox. I mean, maybe Dad already new about the upcoming problems but that doesn't make sense at all. The underground, violent people and my Dad would've never been in the same room. Hence, my Dad would've let me know, if anything like that would be happening. That all was just a weird coinsidence. So, I was facing the damage; my bodyguard that I had an affair for like two days who bailed on me was confessing his feelings to me, while there was a battle outside of my estate. I couldn't care less about his feelings in that situation. My only response would be ''Go, deal what's happening outside and end it, immediately! I am nothing but your boss, Eduardo. Go, end it and then take me to my Luna, you meddlesome bodyguard!'

My eyes were locked onto his; he smelled of the fresh morning and ocean breeze. I was still in his arms, and my lips were so close to his that I could breathe the same air. I tried so hard to control myself and resist his charm.“Put me down, Eduardo,” I said. Thankfully, I was able to keep my voice steady, but he already knew the truth.“I will, once we get inside, Ma‘am. I want you to land somewhere soft and cozy, as you deserve.”God, he should’ve stopped being so freaking cute. The urge to bite him was like an itch I couldn‘t scratch.“I didn’t come to find you to play foolish games, Eduardo. We need to talk, and it is about your job.”“I am off duty, Ma‘am,” he said, adding, “Plus, I have a guest now. A guest of honor; I have to cherish Her Excellency.”I hit one of his shoulders. “Eduardo, stop that!” I said with fake anger. He was aware of my ways, so he didn’t mind me and minded his own business—which happened to be me.“You are going to be paid handsomely for your extra shift

I kissed him, drinking him in as if he were the juice of immortality—a draught of pure lust, unstoppable desire, eternal longing.Ever since I met Eduardo, I had been questioning myself, my behavior. He blurred the lines of our professional roles, and his irresistible charm turned me into a helpless teenager. I was only partially aware of my actions, acting mostly on instinct, guided by a strange, deep trust I couldn't explain. It didn't matter how messed up I was; he was always there to clean up the pieces, and not just because he was my paid bodyguard.I devoured his mouth, my tongue tangling with his while my fingers caressed his hair, his neck, the shell of his ear. A single kiss and my loins were on fire.“Oh, you have no idea how much I’ve missed you...” I whispered against his lips before lowering my kisses to his neck. One of his hands found my hair and gently pulled my head back, putting distance between us.“No,” he said. “Please, stop.” His voice was tight with agony. “I’m

“Miranda?” I whispered to myself in pure shock. What on earth was she doing here? She usually had me arrange her flight to Mexico. How did she manage to come here on her own? I immediately rushed to the door and opened it.“Miranda?” I said. “What are you doing here?”She dropped her luggage on the front steps and wrapped her arms around me in a warm embrace.“Oh, dear…” she said. “I came all the way to check on you.”Check on me? Did she hear about all the chaos and terror that happened throughout the night and worry enough to come all the way from NYC just to check on me?“What do you mean by checking on me?” I asked, wanting to confirm her reason before letting the cat out of the bag.“I heard you were sick, hun. You had a high fever, and Uncle sent an ambulance plane to take you to the hospital in LA.”Oh, so she had heard about that...“It’s been ages,” I said with slight relief. “Did you really come all the way from NYC just because you heard that?”Miranda and I always loved ea

The scent of vanilla and lilacs filled my breath as I relaxed in the lukewarm, bubbly water of my Jacuzzi. It was far more comfortable than before, since I was in Eduardo's arms. His hands gently caressed my skin, his lips leaving soft and tender kisses. His manly, masculine, raw scent blended with the bubble bath’s fragrance, transporting me to another universe—somewhere like paradise.I rested against his body as he held me from behind. My head lay on his right shoulder, his lips mostly moving around the left side of my neck, and my heavy eyelids were closed...“What are you thinking about?” he whispered. He was checking if I was asleep or not.“I’m tired. I want to rest like this,” I answered, curling into his arms as if I were on a bed made of heaven’s clouds.“Are you tired? What kind of man do you have?” he asked with mock anger. “Is he failing to take good care of you? What kind of man’s woman feels tired? Shame on him!”He made me chuckle. I shifted in his arms to face him, my
