CHAPTER 91 ROSE’S POV After what was a long and exhausting day at the hospital, Lily had made it out of the dangerous part. I was relieved to see Lily resting peacefully but still overwhelmed by everything that had happened. The doctors had given us some unsettling news: Lily was diagnosed with dissociative amnesia. They told us she wouldn’t be able to receive visitors for a few more hours while they monitored her status. That didn’t sit right with me. I wanted to be there for her, to reassure her that everything would be okay, but I had to let her rest. “Hey, Rose,” Karen said, giving me that sympathetic look she always does. “Do you want me to stay here? I can help you with Lily.” I appreciated her offer more than I could say because I did need to find Marian Velasco first.
