"Sounds like a real piece of work," Jason agreed with a straight face. He unbuckled his seatbelt. "Stay there. I'll take a look." He stepped out of the Rolls-Royce, not even bothering with a jacket or umbrella, letting the cool rain soak into his shirt instantly. The morning had turned almost as dark as dusk under the heavy clouds, the rain creating a grey curtain around them. He walked to the back of her car, his shoes splashing in the puddles, and crouched down, confirming the obvious. Her car tire was completely, hopelessly flat.
