AUTHOR’S POV“Are you okay, Milo?” Eliza whispered to her brother quietly in class. She noticed he couldn’t sit still and was almost on the verge of tears.“I don’t feel so good,” Milo whispered back, fighting to keep the tears at bay.His hand trembled as he reached for the edge of the desk. He hated feeling like this. His skin felt clammy, the insides of his body felt hot, and all he wanted to do was curl against his mummy.“Do you want mummy?” Eliza asked, reading her brother’s mind. She had fallen sick during New Year's Eve, and Mummy’s hugs had made her feel better, so she assumed Milo would want that as well.Milo nodded, but he knew his mummy wasn't in school. He would have to wait until the school was over, and frankly, he didn’t want to wait.
