She replied in a low tone. “You wanted to attend college.” Hugo didn't ask. It was clear from her expressions. “Yes. I did. I wanted to get a degree and then work with my papa”. She said with a longing this time. Hugo saw her playing with her ice cream now. Her expressions gloomy and Hugo didn't like it a bit. “If you got a chance, what would have you mastered?” “Baking. Culinary. I love baking and I wanted to be a chef”. She replied in an excited tone. “You know I have been baking since I was four. Back then I used to mix and bake with the help of mama but then I learnt it myself. I would spend all my free time in kitchen, mixing ingredients and making new things. Papa would be my guinea pig. Chapter 13 stm Hugo had divided her tasks to the other staff so that she could spend three hours learning and practicing her passion. But she had to make sure that she would prepare breakfast for him and dinner too. Caterina was really excited on her first day. Hugo had personally accompanied her and introduced her to the chefs. Her eyes open wide to see the people she only saw in five star Michelin restaurants and now having them in front of her was a dream come true. Though Luca was still unhappy about the settings, he wisely chose not to say a word against. Hugo left for the office once he was satisfied with the dealings and Caterina had all set in front of her. The best thing she felt was the Chefs preferred performing live rather than teaching her. She felt bit sad when the day was over but the next day was promised, and that was the motivation she needed. Hugo, who was never find of vegetables, would now eat them and actually liked them. Caterina was surely a great cook. “No more. I cannot eat a single spoon now”. Hugo put his utensils down. He was full to his nose but the cold Tiramisu was tempting him to no limits. “Good. More for me then”. Luca held the dish only to be smacked by Hugo. “Don't you dare. Take your slice and leave. God, you gonna spend my groceries in one week”. He faked annoyance.“Yeah yeah, like I am the one cooking five star

Chapter 17 stm“Water”. Hugo heard a low murmur and only if he wasn't paying attention to her, he could have missed it. He picked up the water suggested by the doctor and went to sit by Caterina on the couch. He pulled her to his shoulder to support her while feeding her water sip by sip. “How are you feeling?” He politely asked her once she was settled. “My head hurts”. She said in a low scratchy voice. “That's because you were hit hard. The doctor told me it will take a couple of days. Do you feel nausea?” “No. I am thirsty”. She slightly shook her head but that made her wince. “Easy there. You need to be very careful. You were in a pretty beat up state when we picked you up. You need complete rest for at least a week”. “But my cafe”. “Don't worry about it. My people will run it for now. Just rest for now”. He softly patted her hand as she was drifting back to sleep. Once she was asleep, Hugo adjusted the blanket on her and took his seat back on the coffee table where he wa

He waved in the air to bring his regular order and turned to Luca who was nursing a glass of scotch and two girls working on him. “It's jammed today. The strippers are in full swings. People are falling like flies. Mochi is out in the cage and men are getting wild”. Luca said with a smirk and Hugo smirked too. He knew Mochi would mooch off the men of their money. “Want me to call someone for you?” Luca winked. He was sure Hugo had celibated for god knows what reason and he would reject every girl approaching him. It happened the same. Hugo glared at him but Luca laughed it off because his glare had no heat. Hugo pulled out his phone and opened the contact for Caterina. “I will be home in fifteen minutes. Be in my bedroom.
