Lahat ng Kabanata ng Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

Thanks to an explosion that had occurred in a research lab, an unknown substance was leaked to the world. This was the start of the apocalyptic era, where humans could get infected by the substance, thus transforming into zombies.Three years after the zombie apocalypse started, I died in the maws of the zombies. To make things worse, my kindness was the reason behind my eventual death.Surprisingly enough, I was reborn to the timeframe where there were six hours left before the zombie outbreak began.Memories of my past life were replayed in my mind like a movie reel. It was as if I could still smell the rotten and bloodied stench wafting from the zombies. With a trembling hand, I felt my neck. Although it felt smooth and flawless, I could still feel phantom pain flaring from it.The moment my phone's screen lit up, I turned my attention to it immediately. It was currently October 2nd, 2025, also known as the day the zombie virus was leaked. It was then I could finally confirm t

My mom reached home four hours before the zombie outbreak."Oh, my goodness! Sweetheart, this is just one party, right? Why did you buy so much food?" Mom asked in a shocked tone as she stared at the food and water that had already taken over the living room.I hadn't seen my mother for three long years. In my previous life, I had traversed through half the city just to reach her home, only to see a puddle of blood marring her floors. It was only natural for me to rush over and pull her into a tight hug before planting kisses all over her cheeks."Mom, I'll explain everything to you once I come home later, okay? Please take care of Joyce for now. I need to go out again."Our lives were at stake. I didn't have time to explain to Mom what was going on. These supplies were barely enough to support us.I could still remember the agony of having to drink water just to curb my hunger for days after my supplies got stolen in my previous life. This time, I needed to make sure that I could

The countdown of the final hour had begun.Emmett and I did a quick check on the supplies at home to see if we were missing out on anything. After that, we filled up all the buckets and basins with water to ensure that we had enough water to tough out the apocalypse. In the end, we drove to the nearest supermarket."Although fresh fruits and vegetables rot easily, we still have to make sure that our nutrient intake is sufficient and balanced during the early stage of the outbreak. We can't just rely on vitamins," Emmett said to me while loading our shopping cart with fruits."It's my fault. I was in a rush just now." Having survived three years in the apocalypse, my mindset was already fixated on ensuring everyone's survival when I was buying supplies earlier. In doing so, I had completely forgotten about the quality of the supplies.Emmett stroked my head, his heart aching for me. "You worked really hard. This time, we'll work hard together. We'll definitely survive the apocaly

One day had passed after the zombie outbreak. We still had water and electricity, but it was hard to tell how long they would last. After breakfast, we surfed the Net to see how things were going. On Twitter, there were images and videos of zombies eating people everywhere.I searched for news of the military entering the city, but just as it had been in my past life, they were nowhere to be seen. This wasn't because they were slow to react, though. As frontliners, many of them had become zombies after being infected by the virus, especially in the initial stages of the outbreak. The government had tried to use large-scale, mass destruction thermal weapons to exterminate the zombies. While this was an effective way to kill them in large numbers, as long as even one remained alive, they would quickly infect a large group again.Ultimately, the military had given up on rescue efforts and had instead focused on building safe zones to protect the surviving humans. That morning, a few

Two months had passed since the zombie outbreak. We heard loud banging on our gate—a crowd had gathered outside."Open up! We know there are people inside!""Keep hiding if you want! We'll feed you the zombies when we get in there!"A woman's weak voice rang out, "Maybe we shouldn't kill them if they're willing to share their food."A loud slap followed. "Shut up!"The woman seemed to fall onto the floor from the force of the slap. She didn't say anything else after that.Joyce curled up in my arms as Mom and I grabbed our guns and headed to the second floor to shoot the unwelcome visitors down. Meanwhile, Emmett guarded the door on the first floor. The gate fell open with a loud crash, and chaotic footsteps stormed into the yard. It didn't take long for someone to step on the nails scattered all over the place. They howled in pain. The noise attracted the roaming zombies, who flooded in and surrounded the group. Several seconds later, all that was left was the sound of the zom
