“Seriously? You steal my apples and order fucking Uber Eats?”Ignoring him, I stood and went to get my food. It was sitting in front of the door, and I scooped it up. One perk of living in a place with zero security was that I didn’t have to go downstairs to get my food.“A man’s gotta eat.”“Give me back my apples.”“No.”“I fucking hate you.”“Samesies.” I carried my dinner over to the small kitchen table and set it down.“What is that?” he sniffed the air, a longing look on his face.“Pad thai.”“You’re an asshole.”“And you’re a brat.”“Am not!”“You’ll get your damn apples when you give me back my hoodie.”His face paled. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”“Really? You know nothing about how my favorite hoodie suddenly disappeared? You expect me to believe it got up and walked away?”“Maybe you shouldn’t have left it on the table. It’s gross.”“It’s a hoodie, not a pair of hiking boots.”“It’s still full of your germs.”“Woooow. Real awesome comeback there, Julian. Are you

“You’re lying.”“Am I?” I quirked an eyebrow at him, reveling in the fact that I had the upper hand for once.“Where. Is. It? I had to go to school without showering this morning. I’m already pissed. Don’t make it worse for you.”“I told you it’s around.”“Julian.”“Asher.”He bumped his chest against mine, and my back hit the door.“Tell me where it is. Now.”“Or what?” I bit my lip to stop myself from smiling.“You really want to test me right now?”“Move, and I’ll get it for you.”He growled low in his throat and stepped back.“You know, I should just leave it until you find it,” I said over my shoulder as I headed into the kitchen. “You can dish it out, but you can’t take it, apparently.”“Oh, I can take a lot.” He stomped after me.I went to the cupboard and opened it. “There you go, Mr. Observant.”He scanned the shelves, his eyes tightening when it landed on the caddy.“Told you it was somewhere you could find. Don’t you feel stupid.”Ash grabbed my shoulders and shoved me agai

Ash’s POV“I still can’t believe you have to live with that loser.” Tripp filled a cup with some top-shelf vodka, the good stuff he kept in his room.It was the third time he’d said that in the last twenty minutes.“Yeah. It fucking blows.”Tripp was a good guy and one of my closest friends, but he was an annoying drunk. He cycled between euphoria and rage and tended to repeat himself and talk in circles. He’d started pregaming for his party before noon, so he was good and sloshed.I’d had a test in my last class that afternoon—fuck you very much, Professor Archer—and hadn’t arrived at the party until it was in full swing.“Ash!”Darcy stood, or rather posed, in the door. She was leaning against the frame with one arm up, the opposite leg kicked behind her and her hip out. I imagined it was supposed to be seductive, but it just looked awkward as she wobbled on her heel. Why did girls wear heels when they drank? It was amazing there weren’t more ankle injuries at these parties.“Hey,

Jules’s POVJerkit262: c you soon bbI exited out of Grindr and put my phone on the bed, next to a butt plug and some lube. Drumming my fingers on my knee, I looked between the phone and my toy. I had forty minutes until I was supposed to meet jerkit for a hookup.Being on Grindr was… interesting.I’d been bombarded with messages since I’d signed up. My bio was short, simply stating that I was a bottom and looking for anonymous hookups. I’d taken a few headless, shirtless selfies in one of the bathrooms on campus after hours and used one as my avatar.I didn’t think there was anything special about my profile, but by the number of messages I’d gotten, guys were into it.Most of the messages had been a simple “sup” or “yo,” but a fair number had been dick pics. I wasn’t against looking at dicks, and I wasn’t under any illusion of what type of app I was on, but it would be nice to get an actual greeting before I saw the goods. It had taken me nearly a week, but I’d found a guy who seeme

I dug out my phone and ordered another Uber. I winced at the price. Another week of eating ramen. When I had a confirmation, I sat on the curb and leaned back on my hands, staring up at the night sky.I was such an idiot. An idiot with shit luck. Why had I thought tonight was a good idea?I opened Snapchat and sent a message to Dec.Jules: I hate you and your stupid ideasHis avatar popped up before I could exit out of the chat.
