Vi's POVI yawn and open my eyes, turning my head, I see Fluffy in the crook of my arm and smile. Vi's POVI woke up and looked at the ceiling for a moment. After a while I turned to see Dimitri asleep in the chair by my bed. I smiled taking in the five o'clock shadow that covered his chin, and the mess of his normally perfect hair. It looked like he had spent the night running his hands through it. Asleep he seemed so innocent. He was a beautiful man, I could admit that. I knew there was something not quite right with me, I knew my brain regressed, my mother used to laugh at me for it, when I would go back into myself. The two women who came to speak to me yesterday explained it was my brain taking me back to a happier time to try and protect me from what was happening. It made sense. The little things I remember from that time, that I thought were just dreams, were likely real and my brain would take me back to them, and remind me that there was something better out there waiting for me.
