41: Suck me

It felt like my wishes were granted. I found it crazy she would invite me to have soup with her but I was too excited to care.I entered the room, conscious of my steps and where I placed my feet. I was afraid I would do something that would make her change her mind and I would lose the opportunity to have soup with her.I remained standing in the room. Didn’t know what to do or what to say but out of nowhere, she shoved a wooden seat forward.I reached for it. My finger brushed her skin and she pulled away like she was burned. Or more like irritated. But I didn’t care. I was glad she invited and that was enough.I watched her place the pot on fire and stirred. It felt peaceful watching her do that. I could watch her do this all day. I could give up my throne and watch her stir soup all night.“I’ll add another mushroom.” She said and picked one up from the basket I didn’t know was there.“It keeps away cold.” She said and dropped it inside the pot before stirring again but this time

42: Meat

NIGHTBANEHer skin was burning. It was as if she’d been set on fire.I held her hand that was fisted in my hair and gently undid it from my head. I held it by her side and looked into her eyes. Something was wrong. I could feel it but I just couldn’t tell what it was.“I want you too, Fel..” I said. “But not like this.”I felt a pang in my chest when the look of disappointment appeared on her face. I’d never been turned down so I didn’t know how it felt but I was sure she felt bad.“Look, you’re still recovering. Your body needs time to heal.” I tried to reason. I never knew it was this difficult to say no to someone. Was this what they called love? Her eyes were glimmering. As if she was going to cry and I shook my head at her.“No tears, Fel.” I whispered, caressing her cheek. “No tears.”“But your dick will heal me. Don’t I look good? Am I too ugly and dirty for you?”My mouth parted in disbelief. It was impossible to believe Felyndra was the one uttering those words. But look at h

43: Save him

NYXORAI didn’t know why I did that, but it felt exciting.I enjoyed the look on his face and how he battled with himself physically and internally.“I…”“Shhhh..” I hushed him and slid my finger between my womanhood. Then walked up to him and pressed it against his lips.“Taste me,” I whispered, more like an order, and his tongue flicked over my finger.“Sweet. Isn’t it?” I cocked my head, eyes fixed on his face, and he nodded.I hummed in satisfaction and unintentionally rubbed my slippery thighs together.“Good.”I turned around and wore my dress back, even though I wanted to go further.“Lace my corset,” I ordered, voice firm. After moments of hesitation, his fingers brushed the skin on my back, setting it ablaze. I clenched my fist by my side, teeth glued to one another.I swore if he brushed his skin against mine again, I wouldn’t hold back but push him on the bed and take his cock inside me until I was tired and fulfilled.I finally exhaled when he was done with the last rope.

44: Ironfang

My heart thudded in my chest. A taste of my blood would heal Nightbane? All through the night, I thought hard.He had every opportunity to draw my blood and heal himself. Why didn’t he do it?The sounds of wolves howling in the distance filled the morning air. I was used to their daily runs at this point. I needed a run myself, but my identity had always remained a secret.Rita was hanging linen by the corner. She’d been standing there for too long. Occasionally glancing my way and looking at me with those eyes, as if I could read her mind. She had something on her mind she probably wanted to say to me.We haven’t spoken to each other since that day she told me my child was dead.My child wasn’t dead. If they were dead, why did I dream about them every night? Why did I see their tiny wiggling legs in my sleep? Why did I feel them cry out to me?As much as I would love to have my child back immediately, I still needed to find a way to break this barrier Ryan talked about.I returned to

45: Forbidden Chamber

NYXORAAs usual, I was in my chamber. Meat didn’t come for the painting. I must have scared him, but I wasn’t bothered. I knew he would be back. No one tastes me and never comes for more. There was no news from my agents that I had sent to search for the child.I wasn’t prepared for what happened next. Not for the entrance of Nightbane into Ironfang, riding shamelessly with his breeder. They didn’t see me. But I saw them. I saw her when she looked at my balcony, face hard as if she was silently declaring war against me.She must have had the king’s child, but I was the Luna. The legal wife of the Alpha King, and she would always remain a slave no matter what she did.I didn’t go to welcome the king. If he asked, I would tell him I was sick.As expected, Anna came in bearing news. I had told her never to return to my chamber if she didn’t have anything new for me.“Speak.” I ordered.“The breeder shared a horse with the Alpha..”“I know that.” I cut her off, pissed she didn’t have anyt

46: Queen of Grithim

I had enough and dragged her outside the chamber. Her scream invited the servants. The hallway was now filled with servants and guards watching the circus. The guards wanted to come close but were afraid I might hurt her even more.Hurt her? No. I wanted to kill her.“Help me!” She screamed like a mad woman.“Tell the king to save me!” She cried for help, but that didn’t stop me from dragging her.My child was inside the castle. Inside my room, and I was going to find them.“Felyndra!” Came Rita’s angry voice.I stilled and turned to face her.If glares could kill, Rita would have been under six feet at that moment.“Have you gone crazy?” She demanded, stepping forward from the crowd.“Yes!” I yelled at the top of my lungs.“I have gone crazy because this woman who poisoned slaves with rouges has my child!”“Your child is dead, Felyndra! Your child is dead!”Nyxora’s screams died. My grip turned cold, and the hall fell into silence. The only thing I could see were the shock and sad fa

47: You’re my life, Fel..

FELYNDRAYou expected I would be sad. That I would have a lot of things going on in my head after the hallway scene with Nyxora.No. I had nothing on my mind. Didn’t even think of anything. Until I heard the whispers, Nyxora had a child while we were away, but it didn’t make sense. She wasn’t pregnant. But they said she wasn’t with my child. My child was dead, and Nyxora wasn’t pregnant when we left. So whose child did she bear?Nyxora made her grand entrance again. This time around, she was furious, but seeing the bandage on her head gave me a little joy.I remained on the bed and waited for her to state her business in my chamber.“This chamber is forbidden.” She said it calmly, but beneath that calmness, I heard her grit.“Nightbane didn’t say that.” I muttered, voice too firm for someone who was grieving.“Night…bane?”Surprise was written all over her angry, evil face. She didn’t believe Nightbane gave me the room.“You call the king by his name?” There was disbelief in her voice

48: Her Stench

NIGHTBANE And now, you have lost. Me.” I spat with pain in my chest. In my soul. Those words cut deeper than a dagger. The pain in her eyes called for my soul.I messed up, and I wasn’t sure if this was the right way to clean up my mess. If this was the right way, then I was doing a bad job because I just ruined things even more.Seeing her every day gave me hope.“I haven’t lost her yet. As long as she is still under the same roof with me.” I told myself and blended into the shadows.“Alpha king,” came Ryan’s voice, and I dropped the feather coated with ink on the desk.I sealed the letter and handed it over to him.“Can you deliver this?” I asked him, and he nodded his head bravely.“Send this to all the packs of Grithim. Don’t forget…”“Contact you whenever I sense danger.” He said, and I nodded, pleased by him.I patted his shoulder and watched him leave.Ryan has grown. He grew too fast.Looking at him reminded me of my sister. I was glad a piece of her still existed, and for th

49: Slut

FELYNDRAThe last couple of days, I spent more time with Nightbane. We barely interacted. I just stayed in his study, studying his weaknesses like a book. To him, I was being warm, and to me, it was something different.I admit I was swayed for a moment by his confessions; I wanted to hear them over and over again. They were sweet. Bittersweet and bubbling, they gave me goosebumps. But they didn’t erase the anger and hatred in my heart.I would still break the bond.I would feed him the soup two more times and leave, but until then, I have to find Selene.I flipped through another book and dropped it.“Are you heading out?” He asked as I got up to leave.I halted and turned around with a weak smile.“I’ll be in the library.” I answered and opened the door, feeling his eyes on my back. The door closed behind me, and I exhaled. I didn’t know how long I was going to keep up with the fake smile. My legs took me to the library, and the smell of old books welcomed me. I could spend an entir

50: I am jealous

NYXORA I had always wanted to kill this woman. But now, I don’t even want her dead. I wanted her to suffer and die slowly after calling me disrespectfully by my name.Nothing gladdens me to see the tears on her face. However, it also irritated me. “Pull her out.” I ordered the guards. They pulled the wench out of the well, drenched and immobile.“Check if she’s still breathing.” I said and one of the guards pressed a finger against her neck.“Still alive, Luna.” I exhaled in relief.“Lock her up in the dungeon and throw away the key.” I turned around and left. Tonight, I can attend the pack banquet and breathe well without running mad with thoughts of her.I stepped into the night, adorned with jeweries that complimented the greeness of my dress. I entered the royal carriage and met Nightbane. His eyes bulged, as if he had seen a ghost. What was he thinking? Was he expecting someone else?“Thank you for the beautiful dress, alpha-king. Felyndra delivered it to me.” I said, bowin
