Arnold’s POV“Not cool, guys, but I have heard you all. I would try my best,” I said, faking a grin at them. Alicia heaved a sigh of relief and I shook my head at her. Did she have to be so dramatic all the time? Why do I have to go to Dad with my tail between my legs?I rolled my eyes as I pushed myself up, heading out the room, with my shoulders dropped and my feet dragging. “You want me to be a tamed cat. Fine” I said as I went up to the door. “Remember, keep your voice low and look down while you talk,” Adrian added. I froze by the door. What were they asking me to do now? I thought as I balled my fist so right, my knuckles turned white and I turned to face Adrian. He had a smirk and he bopped his brows at me.I shook my head and stormed out into the corridor, heading to Dad’s room. “Now I had to be–” The door opened and Step Mum came out of the room. I paused, blinking at her as I fixed my position to the way they had advised me back in the room. With my head hung, I walked cl

Alicia’s POVAlex, Mum and I were in the dining room, our appetites were gone and we weren’t eating anymore. Mum paced around worried. Dad and Adrian had rushed out to go save Arnold from doing anything stupid. “I hope they find him on time, before he makes a mistake that would ruin his life,” Mum prayed with both her hands together. Soon, Dad stormed into the house, Arnold followed him, wearing all black with a black burglar's mask on. Adrian entered last. “Oh, you are back,” Mum gasped as she ran to them. “Arnold, what were you thinking?” Mum asked him.Arnold took off his mask, ran his hand through his hair and went to sit on the cough next to him. “I had no option. I told Dad to give me time, so I would get the money, but he refused.” Mum gasped and turned to Dad. “Wasn’t that what he came to tell you last night?”Dad nodded, paced around and then he went to the dining room and took a glass of water. “I should have listened. Son, what you did was wrong, but I was also wrong. I

Alex’s POV“Tomorrow is graduation day!!” I cheered as I strolled around my room. I brushed my hair and turned to Arnold that was seated on my bed. “Right, Arnold?” I asked him.He got up and went to the window where Adrian stood with a mug of hot chocolate drink. “Right,” he took Adrian’s mug. “Can I borrow this?” Adrian rolled his eyes and handed the mug to Arnold. “I’d asked if you wanted a cup and you said no, now you wanted to take mine now?” Adrian grumbled, and he walked up to me.“Yum, this is delicious,” Arnold remarked about the tea. “I should have asked for mine.” I rolled my eyes at them. “Has anyone checked on Alicia?” I asked. They were mute so I knew that was a no. “She wasn’t looking too well, so why didn’t you boy check on her?” I asked. Then I rolled my eyes, heading out and they came out with me. “I knew you boys could do nothing without my guidance.”Adrian’s jaw dropped. “What are you saying? I would have gone to meet her if you didn’t–” He pursed his lips and
