EmmaI didn’t move. I couldn’t. My feet felt stuck to the floor. It was like my brain couldn’t catch up with what was happening. I just stared at Andrew while he looked at me like nothing serious had just happened.“Didn't you see what he did? Your friend touched me inappropriately,” I exclaimed while pointing my finger at Mike.Mike seemed a little worried. He threw his hands up in the air and moved a few steps away from me.Andrew exchanged some glances with me and Mike. Then his glare focused on Mike. Mike’s breathing became erratic. This time, I saw panic register in his eyes.“Yo! Chill, Andrew! I was just playing. But I wasn’t that dumb to do that to your wife.”Mike almost stuttered with his own words. Then, he pointed at me. “That’s a stupid claim. I never touched you. We were here to have fun. I just wanted her to dance a little more.”“Liar!” I shouted at him. “I felt your whole hand touching my butt! How dare you deny it!”Raegan took a step forward and stood between Andrew

EmmaI didn’t say anything. My hands stayed folded in my lap. My eyes locked on a crack in the car’s dashboard. It was easier than looking at him. But Andrew wasn’t willing to let it slide. He scoffed and continued with his tirades. “You really are good at pretending.”I kept still. If he was provoking me to say anything, well, I won’t. I plan not to. He won’t hear anything from me especially upon knowing that he already built an inappropriate image of me inside his head. His next words proved that. “No wonder people look at me with pity. I’ve been living with a fraud. A woman who plays innocent at home and flaunts herself outside. You’re a slut, Emma. That’s what you are.”My shoulders tensed, just barely. This wasn’t the first time he insulted me since we got married but this was the first time he called me a slut. And despite me convincing myself it no longer affected me, it actually did. “You must be proud. Mike was so into you. Hell, you really bewitched him. Who would have th

AndrewEven if Jessica returned to the mansion, nothing had changed. The days went on as usual. I was expecting chaos between the two sisters but surprisingly, their existence inside my home was generally peaceful. In fact, too peaceful. As time went by, Emma was becoming more isolated. She just stayed in her room all day and did not see anyone unless it was time to eat. Honestly, I didn’t get what had gotten into her. All I knew was that as the days went by, I felt that Emma was drifting farther and farther away from me. My senses went back to the present when I felt my phone beep. I frowned seeing Mike’s name appearing on the notification. It has been more than a week since you promised your wife to me. When will I get my hands on her?Ah, this bastard again. I clicked my tongue and almost cracked my phone in half as I typed my message.Soon. Just be patient.I clicked the send button, hoping I wouldn’t hear another beep. But I was wrong. His response came 5 seconds after the fir

AndrewI took off my shades and read the sign of the place.“Armani Restaurant…” I smirked and threw my keys to one of the restaurant staff. I fixed my tie and went confidently inside. I felt relaxed inside the restaurant. I liked the classy vibe and how the guests did not seem ordinary. Everyone enjoyed their respective company in the well-mannered atmosphere. This was my kind of place. People spoke in low voices and moved with elegance. I belonged here.It was truly well-suited to my image.“Good evening, sir,” the woman greeted me at the front desk.“Reservation under Oscar Wilder,” I answered directly. The front desk staff nodded and flipped through the pages of the guest list.“Table 34,” she said. A male staff member wearing a black tuxedo with white gloves nodded to her and led the way.“Is it your first time here at the Armanis, Sir?” the male staff politely asked.“Yes. I’ll just meet a friend for a brief moment. I’m busy doing my Alpha work, so I chose a place near my comp

AndrewAfter meeting with Oscar, I got in my car and just sat there for a while. Going home didn’t feel right just yet. So, I decided to drink a few bottles So, I took out my phone and dialed Lee.“Hey, Andrew. What’s up?” Lee said while chuckling on the other end. “I’ll send you the location of the bar. Bring the others with you.”“Cool!” Lee sounded excited. “But seriously, what’s the occasion?”“Just call Raegan. I’ll wait at the bar.” I hung up and pulled out of the Armani’s parking lot.The bar wasn’t far. I waited maybe half an hour before they showed up. Raegan and Lee stepped into the VIP room first, followed by Sean and Steven.“Hey!” Raegan greeted. Lee gave me a fist bump and raised an eyebrow.“Seriously, bro… what’s with tonight? Why’d you invite us all?”I smirked and shook my head.“Come on, Lee. Do I need a reason to invite my friends out? Just drink. It’s all on me.”Lee shook his head, already laughing.b“Someone’s gonna pass out again.”I knew he meant me. I could
