AvaI walked off with no idea where I was going, just endless woods that stretched far and wide, the sky a deep grey, as the sun set into them. It didn't look like any place I had ever seen before, not one bit familiar. I couldn't even tell how far from my home it was, for all I knew I could be hundreds of miles away by now. And it didn't matter, because there wasn't a single person around. The only sounds were the rustling leaves above me, the occasional cawing from what felt like an enormous raven circling high above, or the chirping of various birds in the trees around me.
