Camilla's POV."Are you sure everything is okay?" Raymond asked."Yes, Raymond, I am," I said to him.He didn't say anything else, instead, he just turned toward the kids.I let out a sigh.I switched off my phone and put it back into the bag.I have a lot to tell Raymond, and I definitely can't do it now.He kept talking and having fun with the kids.He looks handsome.I stared at him as he kept urging the kids to eat slowly. All of a sudden he turned toward me, and my heart skipped a beat. But he didn't smile, or wink, or blow a kiss.He had an expressionless look on his face.It was like he was upset with me.He then turned towards the kids again. It was obvious he knew I was hiding something, and he wasn't happy about it."I need to get something," I said to him and the kids."Okay Mommy," Mira said.George just waved at me, but Raymond didn't say or do anything.I stepped outside the ward, took in a deep breath, and let it out.I felt so relieved. It was like I was being choked

Writer's POV. Camilla felt a hand touch her skin. She opened her eyes but shut them the moment the sun's rays from the crack in the drapes hit her eyes."Are you okay?" Raymond asked as he immediately rushed over to cover the windows properly.Camilla opened her eyes once more. She looked towards the window and then yelled, "Put something on Raymond.""What?" He asked.Camilla pointed below his waist.Raymond looked down and started laughing."Seriously?" He said."Yes, I'm serious Raymond. Put something on," She said with a smile on your face.Raymond started dancing and twirling as he hummed a song."Nooo Raymond!" Camilla yelled as she covered her face with the duvet. She didn't hear anything else coming from outside the cloth she covered herself with, so she decided to have a look. Before she could open up the duvet, Raymond pulled from a corner."Raymond!" Camilla yelled as she laughed. Then Raymond climbed on the bed and moved closer to Camilla. He was lying next to her, his el

Camilla's POV. Raymond knocked on the door and walked in."Hi, Uncle Raymond!" The kids yelled."Hey, kids," He said to them with a smile on his face.He walked towards the bed to meet them."Hey, Raymond," I said to him.He just looked at me, nodded, and continued his conversation with the kids."What did you have for breakfast today?" He asked them."Mummy made omelets," George said."And we had it with warm milk," Raymond said.I wanted to smile, but I couldn't find the courage to.This morning I went over to the house to make breakfast, freshen up, and change up.When I got there, Raymond wasn't home. And when I got back to the hospital, he still wasn't there.I couldn't help but wonder where he went to.It doesn't look like he knows many people here in the country.Or did he go to drink? But he doesn't smell of alcohol at all.I couldn't figure it out, but, at least he is here.He and the kids had a lot of fun.He played kid games with them, made jokes, and told them stories for

Camilla's POV.The moment I ended the call, I regretted those words.I couldn't help but think that I was harsh to Lawrence. My phone rang.I checked the screen to see who it was.My heart skipped a beat the moment I saw who it was.It was Lawrence. He was calling. Was he planning on yelling at me too, or does he want to apologize?I kept the phone down as it continued ringing. When it ended, in less than 3 seconds, he called again.I didn't want to talk to him anymore.Even though I felt bad for what I said earlier, there was nothing I could do.He deserved it.He has done nothing but hurt me over and over again. And now, because of him, Raymond was gone.I didn't know what to do.I just stayed on the floor for hours as the phone kept on ringing, and I let my tears fall to the ground.***I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing.I picked it up without even checking to see who it was."Hello," I said."Miss Camilla, thank God you're okay," Someone said.I was confused.I tried to s

I asked her.She laughed and said with a smile on her face, "No, silly. Just like you, I was able to get a life-changing deal here in Mexico.""Which is?" I asked."Well, Senor Carlos introduced me to some of his friends, and one of them said he would like me to be the face of his company," She said. From the look on her face, it was something huge and it made her happy."That's good news, Andra. I'm so happy for you," I said to her."Thank you very much," she said with a smile on her face. "And like I said earlier, congratulations too.""Well, it's not a done deal yet.
