Kiara’s POV The forest fell completely still now, and I hated it. The silence felt louder now, and call me crazy or whatever, but I could swear I felt it seeping into my bones and veins, and it was driving me crazy. I sat still for a few more minutes, trying to catch my breath, but all it did was make the panic simmer beneath the surface.
