Lahat ng Kabanata ng COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS : Kabanata 131 - Kabanata 140

Ava's POV I was scared. The knot in my chest grew tighter the farther we went from Lyanna. We couldn't take the carriage, but Avala seemed relaxed despite that. She calmly guided me past a less established path, slowly leading me away from Sulk Pack but not towards Stormclaw. We walked for an hour. Then two. Then three. At the fourth hour, I stopped, heaving and sweating like I had just run all the way from Sulk Pack to Stormclaw.Avala stopped as well, scanning the thick vegetation around us warily."Tired?" she asked without looking at me."Yeah," I nodded. "You don't expect us to walk all the way, do you?""Of course not," she replied. "I have great stamina, and it would take me at least a week to get to the borders of our region and even longer to get out. I'm taking us to a place where I have a carriage prepared."I sighed in relief at the confirmation."I can barely keep walking," I groaned as I slowly stood up straight."Then we will reduce the pace," she replied concernedly.

Dravin's POV I could barely hide my disappointment as I strolled over to my office.Lyanna was lying.I have lived long enough to discern lies when I see one. Her stoic demeanor and confidence might be quite convincing, but there was a subtle hint of nervousness as she spoke—one she might not have noticed. When I asked the question about following Elora, she tensed. That was an unintentional indication of guilt. Pretending not to have heard or understood my question proved it even more.Unfortunately, I was sure she had no idea where they went. Especially if Avala was involved. It would be counterintuitive and, honestly, just stupid to tell anyone within my reach about their whereabouts. Which is why I also know her family back at Stormclaw knows nothing about her whereabouts. I wouldn't be surprised if they never knew she was gone yet. What do I do now?Soren managed to calm me down, but I can't bring myself to accept that I have lost her.I can't lose Elora.I lost Irikah once. I c

Ava's POV "Beautiful," I couldn't help but say as we rode through the traffic to reach the gate."Papers!" I heard a guard bark angrily at our driver."Do we have papers?" I asked, confused."Yes, we do," Avala said calmly. "Just documents needed for us to be granted passage. It's nothing serious."True to her words, the guard seemed to have gotten what he asked for as he didn't say a word after that.At least, until he knocked on the door of the carriage."Open the windows," he ordered.Avala quietly complied and turned her attention to the guard, who gave her a confused look."Do I know you?" he asked, his voice a little unsure."Maybe," she shrugged. "I believe you have no problems with our papers?""Oh, yes," he said quickly. "This is just protocol. I need to see what you have in the carriage. These are trying times for the Pack. We have been ordered to be extremely meticulous.""Outlanders?" Avala asked as she opened the carriage door and let the guard look in."Yeah," he said a

Ava's POV Sitting in the living room of the Alpha's home, I couldn't help but feel nervous all over again. I know Avala wouldn't let me become homeless but my figure truly worried me. What was going to happen to me?It appears Avala only had this Alpha in mind when she decided to ask for help. She might potentially be rich but I don't know how easily she could find me a place to stay when she just arrived today. "Who are you?" A female voice asked, causing me to turn in its direction. I resisted the urge to stand up immediately. The lady in front of me was regal in a way that annoyed me. She was clearly royalty, but she was obviously the haughty and obnoxious kind. The scowl on her face as she glared at me who she was seeing for the first time, was proof of her character. "Elora," I said calmly, doing my best to offer her a smile. "I came here with a friend. She is with the Alpha at the moment.""You couldn't possibly have come here with someone who knows Corvin," she retorted. "W

Corvin's POV"What the fuck, Corvin?!" Linda yelled as I rummaged through the work on my desk."Linda, not now," I sighed. "I have a lot to do. I don't have time for that.""Then answer the damn question!" she yelled. "When are Vivian and that scarred bitch leaving?!"I ignored her as I kept my attention on my papers, trying to find the ones that had eluded me all this while."CORVIN!" she yelled. "Is this how it's gonna be? You're gonna start a harem right under my nose, aren't you?! Why are so many women suddenly living in our home?!""They're not in our home!" I yelled in response, my eyes glowing in anger. "What the fuck is your problem?! I made sure they lived separately just because I didn't want problems! Vivian is the only reason why we can still stand up to those fucking Outlanders! The other girl, Elora, is a guest of Avala's! Avala has authority almost equal to mine in this Pack! She should be living right here! I made her go live with Vivian because of you! Give me a fuckin
