Lahat ng Kabanata ng My obsessive brother in-law: Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

Varda's POVI watched the unfamiliar woman turn around to gaze at me with her brows furrowed at my direction in utter confusion. The little boy standing besides her bowed his head at me in respect and muttered "Good day ma." I was just as confused as they were honestly. Although at the same time, their presence seemed suspicious. There was something about them that I could not explain but the way the guards and maids around looked at her with so much respect, I could tell she was someone of high importance."Who are you?" I had to ask with a raised brow. I hoped my words would not come off as offensive to her but there was no other way I could present my words without coming off as blunt to her. I watched her take a few steps backward, a bit taken aback by my sudden question. I wanted to rephrase my question but she was too quick to response. "Excuse me? I should be the one asking you that, who the hell are you?" She snapped at me. I scoffed, taking a few steps backward too. I had t

Varda's POV"Wife?" Fransisca choked out a hysteric laughter. Now it was my turn to smirk at her proudly. Although there was absolutely nothing to be proud of. The fact that my husband had a woman and a son out there? What was I supposed to be proud about? More like embarrassed, I felt ashamed but I could not let Fransisca see it. I knew she was the type of woman who wanted to trample on people she saw as weak, I was not going to let that happen."You heard me right Fransisca, she is my wife which is why I do not think it is right for you to be here." Stephen said with a serious look on his face. The least he could now right was to chase them away, although that would not make up for his sins but at least, I would try to understand his reasons.Fransisca scoffed. She eyed him in disbelief before arching her brows at him. "Are you throwing I and Asher out of the mansion just like that?" She shook her head at him. Stephen sighed heavily, I noticed that he was beginning to get tired over

Varda's POV"If that is what you are here to talk about, your old wife and family then you might as well leave if you still have some respect for me." I snapped at Stephen. I felt tears prick from the corner of my eyes and I honestly could not comprehend why I felt so sad. It was like my entire heart had been shattered into many shreds and it was going to be extremely tough to pick them back up. I felt betrayed, confused, used and alone."Why are you over-exaggerating things Varda? Fine, I have a kid somewhere out there. So what? Shit happens." Stephen said with slight shrug. He was so lucky that he owned the mansion or else I would have kicked him out and asked him never to return. How could he make such a thing seem like no big deal at all."Oh so that does that mean you are okay with me having children for other men because well, according to you shit happens." I spat out bitterly. Surprisingly for me, Stephen was bold enough to roll his eyes at me and retort. "That is a different

Varda's POV"Why am I being addressed in such manner by your son?" I snapped at her with a raised brow. Fransisca sighed heavily. She rolled her eyes at me and snapped back. "What do you expect him to address you as? My daddy's wife?" She cocked her head to the right. I could not help but scoff in disbelief at her arrogance. I was not exactly asking her son to address me as my daddy's wife, of course that would be really awkward but I was expecting him to address me as something a bit more respectful like 'Ma' or 'Ma'am' Aunty makes it seem weird because that is the same manner he addresses the maids in the mansion as. Or did Fransisca tell him I was the maid?"Did you perhaps tell your son that I was a maid at his daddy's house?" I had to ask, air quoting my words. Fransisca sighed again. "Why would I do that? And even if I wanted to, I was confident that he would not even believe me. After all you dress even fancier than I do, what are the chances that he will believe you are a maid

Varda's POVI continued to wallow in my own thoughts until a younger maid stepped into my room with a tray clutched tight to her hands. Just the aroma of the food made my stomach grumble, I was really hungry and I was at least grateful that Elisa was not also starving me just like Fransisca had chosen to. The young maid bowed her head at me in respect and I pointed at the bed, instructing her that she drop the food tray on the bed. She did exactly as I had commanded and afterward, she turned around to walk away but I was going to seize this opportunity to ask her a few questions, especially because she looked really naive and easily manipulated. "Wait." I yelled. I watched her fidget in fear before turning around to gaze at me. Her face was pale and fear was written all over it. She rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly and i caught her legs tremble in fear. Why was she so afraid of me? Was that normal or had she done something suspicious that got her so afraid?"Relax, I only have
