A month later..................We returned to Philly, very much in love with each other. Emmanuel and Claire announced that they were engaged. They were planning a wedding for next year. Everyone was so happy for them.Keisha immediately started showing up wherever Michael was trying to get his attention. Jared kept pestering me for another chance. Rumors were flying left and right that Jared was drinking too much these days and not showing up for work.Nevertheless, we ignored them.One day, Keisha followed Michael to the old courthouse building downtown and jumped into the elevator with him and three other people.
