“Are you going to answer her?” Hectyr crossed his arms narrowing his eyes at the guards. They stood, straight backed and at attention the one who looked back to me answered. “Sir, we-”“You weren’t going to respond?” Hectyr cocked an eyebrow. “I thought you were trained better than that.”“Yes sir.” they both answered. “Okay, you’re dismissed. I’ll walk her back to her room.” “Sir,” the guard objected, “The king ordered us to take her.” Hectyr nodded, “I’m still your captain right? Seems to me like you should listen to me and let me deal with the king. Now dismissed.” They clicked their legs together and bowed before disappearing back into the antechamber. I was a little disappointed they were so quick to leave me. Wasn’t I supposedly the queen now? Didn’t that mean anything?
