Darius's POV."Fine, tell me about my brother and me. Why have things always been the way they've been between us? And why do I keep failing every time I plan to kill him?" I asked the seer, but deep down within me, I was not ready for the answer. The mere presence of Ryan made me feel insecure, and every time I try to blame him for it, something within me always whispers that Ryan was not the problem but my fear of him."I hoped that one day you would ask this question. And right now you cannot understand the level of joy I have hearing you want to honestly know about yourself and your brother and what all of this hatred has been about. This is your first step to liberation, Darius, and believe me, No matter how far you've gone, the goddess is always ready to take it back and point you in the right path. Except that the only price you have to pay is that you have wasted a lot of time in the dark, and now you will have to manage what little time is left for you."He said this to me, a

Jessica's POV.Right there I wished I had an answer to all Ryan's questions, but I did not have an answer to them, and even I was worried within myself, seeing how worried I was about Darius. After everything we had been through, we deserved a time off, a time to stop thinking about all of this for some time and just focus on ourselves having the best of our lives, but then immediately after this, we are now faced with the tasks of either leaving Darius to answer Isabella to overthrow and take the Ashmoon Park, which will be taken over, or going there to help him out of this mess that he does not even know about."I think we should give them a few minutes. I believe that whatever Isabella plans for Darius is not going to take effect immediately, and she might be gradually putting things in place. We're going to give them a few minutes alone to know if it's really worth our interference," Ryan said to me, and I could not disagree because deep down within me I wanted that time off too.

Ryan's POV.After explaining everything to Murphy here, I come up with a decision, and he promises that he is going to follow whatever decision I make. This was one of the reasons I did not want to involve myself in this fight that I was about to take down because I knew that if I were to involve myself, it would not just be me that would be involved but all the innocent people whose lives are not supposed to be complicated for the sake of me and Darius .I knew it would be difficult to ask Murphy not to come with me if I came to a decision to go to the Ashmoon pack to help Darius win this war that is rising up on him, and it is going to be impossible to tell Jessica not to join us. I feel like I have risked these two fellows far too much to involve them in this anymore, but how was I going to ask them to stay away? When I didt, I did not want to.Deep down within me I knew that what I was about to get involved in was so wrong, but what was I going to do? Darius was the only family I

Ryan's POV.He was staring at the Seer with a look of worry on my face because that question was one I did not expect. Why would I have sought the opinion of Jessica? If I was completely honest with him, I did not want to invoke Jessica at all because that would mean risking her life again by asking her to use the Luna Shadow Curse, which she shouldn't be using anytime soon."Jessica does not have a business with this Seer. She has risked her life so much for us, and I would not want her to be a part of this anymore," I said to the seer, but instead of responding to me, he burst into laughter."I never said anything funny, and as much as I remember, you rarely laugh. So what could be the trigger now?" I asked him, wearing a serious look on my face."It is funny how you think you can keep her away from her destiny. Jessica has the power of the goddess within her. She is not an ordinary Luna; she's a lunar that has been appointed by the goddess even before she was born. This is her part

Darius's POV.When I returned to the Ashmoon pack, I had myself questioning everything and everyone around me. I did not know how to trust anymore or believe and whom to despise. It's affected the way I spoke to the people and the way I socialized with them, and deep down within me, I feared that at any moment anyone would do something without my knowledge that would get me out of the picture for life. The Seer had asked me not to trust anyone, including my Luna, and at that moment I had something in mind. I decided to revoke the magic that Isabella now possessed, and when I got there, I asked him to nullify the powers that she had.I did this because I wondered if she might use those powers against me, and with that leverage I would not stand a chance of winning. However, all he could do was intensify my resistance but not stop the magic, as the magic was no longer reversible."Why would you do it knowing that it was not reversible? What if she does not want it anymore?" I asked the
