Clarissa’s POV The journey after the Spirit of Silence was harder than I expected. Jasmine and I moved slowly along the winding path that hugged the mountain's edge. I couldn’t see, of course. My eyes were still shrouded in darkness, the world around me nothing more than shadows and sounds. But I could feel things, like the wind brushing against my cheeks, the change in the air when we neared cliffs, the way Jasmine stopped suddenly, alerting me to danger or steep drops.We didn’t talk, we couldn’t, really.
