“You have to come to the reunion,” Saka said, standing in front of Karina with his arms crossed. “I don’t want to go, Sir,” Karina tried to refuse, even though Saka always won in every argument. “Want to argue?” he repeated, taunting her. A shiver ran down Karina’s spine. She shrank back at the deep, firm tone in his voice. She didn’t dare protest any further. “What’s so hard about going? You’ll see your old friends,” Saka said, gripping the edge of the table. His shirt sleeves were rolled up to his elbows. His look was messier than usual—no jacket, no tie. God knows where those had gone. But Karina had to admit, Saka looked more attractive like that. Like a rebellious genius boss. “I only have two friends,” Karina replied quietly. “I have no reason to go to that event.” Despite her fear, she still tried to negotiate with him. BANG! Saka slammed his hand on Karina’s desk impatiently. “You’re really testing my patience, Karina,” he growled. “Come here. I’m going to punish you.”
