All Chapters of Wet Nights : Chapter 31 - Chapter 40

ShemikaI was lost and uncollected that I totally forgot about the elevator so I took the stairs.I was already tired, but the moment I took my next step, I suddenly bumped into someone who's also coming down the stairs in a rush.We collided on the stairs, and I immediately apologized without even looking up to see who it was.The young lady barely flinched, she remained quiet as she stared at me almost too remarkably. She was blocking my way so I lifted my head up to look at her. I was stunned to see Synn standing before me.Synn and I have never spoken before, in fact we've never met in person, I've only heard other performers gossip about her. Everybody claimed Synn was a prideful bitch because she's the most requested performer in the house and also the highest paid. With what I've heard so far, I never thought I'd one-day bump into Synn in this manner and she wouldn't have slapped me already.I was shocked by her calmness and collectiveness.Perhaps, the gossipers are wrong abou

Shemika“Room checkers! If you've got something illegal in your room, you better go and hide it fast.” Synn blurted, still relaxed.“Room checkers?!” I asked, my mouth wide open.“Yes, they usually come around unannounced to check all the rooms in the penthouse.” She explained.I scoffed, then I stepped forward and sat back down, “Oh, who cares? Why should I have something illegal?” “Almost everybody in this penthouse has something illegal they are hiding…that's why they're all running helter-skelter like flies.” Synn laughed and I joined her to laugh.“When you say illegal, what exactly is considered illegal here?” I asked with a raised brow.“Drugs, weapons, jammers, counterfeit cash, illegal streaming servers, exotic breeds, relics…just name it!” Synn retorted, her voice was cold and flat.My eyes widened in disbelief. I can't believe they suspect they will find such dangerous acts in the hands of a performer.“But they do drugs in the club?” I blurted confusingly.“The club is d

ShemikaThe door closed behind him like a calm thunder, leaving behind just me alone with an aggressive man like Bishop. At this point, I've already said my last prayers, so whatever he feels like doing to me, he should go ahead, I don't care anymore.I suddenly disposed of my fears, and here I was kneeling before him, eyes closed, mouth bleeding, and brain shot down. The silence in the room stretched beyond expectation, but I still didn't flinch.“They found a rare drug in your room. How come? Who's your dealer?” Bishop asked, his voice dangerously became calm again.“I didn't do it.” I blurted plainly, revealing no emotions.“Open your eyes!” Bishop commanded.“I can't!” I blurted back, straight and direct. The room fell into silence again. Then Bishop suddenly stood up from his seat, and his chair scraped the marble floor slightly causing a creaking sound that bounced against the four corners of the room.I've no idea why he stood up or what he was about to do, but I remained calm

ShemikaHe lifted his head up, and leaned his face closer to mine, his breath tickling my skin as he spoke. “Tell me what happened that night.” His voice cracked as he spoke.Sometimes, I love having fun with people's emotions, especially when that person is on my death list.“Oh my!” I slurred, “You're desperate now, huh? So I'm going to tell you, nothing happened that night. So please rest!” I mocked, totally forgetting that I was speaking with Bishop. Nobody dares talk to him in this manner, but I was hundred percent sure of what I was doing, and I've something he has been looking for, so he definitely won't and can't get rid of me.“You think you're clever, huh?” Bishop smirked dangerously.“No, I think you're used to people shaking when you speak…I'm not one of them, Bishop.” I smiled at his face, staring mostly at his pink, thick lips. I can remember kissing those lips five years ago. I remembered everything just like yesterday, but I'll play dumb just one more time. I really wa

BishopDespite all my attempts to keep Mary calm, she still flared up, angry at the fact that she saw me with a performer.I tried explaining to her that Shemika was just a performer and she should stop taking things too far, but Mary was just being stubborn as usual.Mary is my girlfriend, we have been dating for quite some years now. She's is from a wealthy home with a perfect family. After she introduced me to her family, they flared up and stood against our relationship.I never wanted to push things since her parents thought of me to be a dangerous person for their daughter. I politely asked Mary for us to break up and end the relationship, but she claimed we could keep it a secret from them.Seems like a nice idea to me, so we continued dating without the knowledge of her parents. Our relationship was secret and we promised not to let anyone know until things settles a bit, and we're able to convince her parents that I'm not dangerous for her.Despite the fact that I'm wealthy,
