The dinner was great and throughout the journey, Christine continued to peer at the tiny, pricey jewel. It was made of imperial gold directly from China by an Italian goldsmith company. "Do you like the ring?" Alan asked her with a smile, pleased to see the joy in her face. "Like it? I love it," Christine said delightedly. "I'm glad," Alan blushed. "You know I told the store owner to get me something simple but classy and beautiful like the woman I love," he said. "Aw," Christine said and hid her face in mock embarrassment.
