Desmond knew that something was terribly wrong. It was unlike Olivia to ask the hospital staff to send him away, without even seeing him. Restraining order or not, he knew that if everything was as it should be, she would have at least wanted to see him. He had not tried to see her since she left the house because he felt like she needed space to rethink her decision. Perhaps if he gave her space, she would miss him. But apparently, that was not the case. He placed around his office, wondering what to do. Surely he could not go to see her again so soon after she had made it clear she did not want to see him. Olivia watched Sebastian closely as he sat, processing the information he had just received. She let him think about it for half an hour without interruption. “Hey.” She said as she joined him on the couch. Desmond had excused himself long ago, not thrilled by Sebastian’s sulky mood. Sebastian simply nodded in response. His hands were clasped together and his head was bent solemnly. “Are you okay?” Olivia asked. “I just found out that my biggest enemy is my half-brother. Do you think I’m okay?” He retorted. Olivia sighed. “I understand. It’s not the greatest news.” “Is that why he has been opposing Gilbert Technologies at every turn? Competing with me? Olivia felt victorious. She had managed to convince Desmond to show up for Gilbert Technologies’ anniversary event, a feat she never imagined she would achieve.
