.JessicaThankfully as reporters circled Viktor and I, they were chased quickly by the manager who had asked for them.Today had been the last shoot for the contest and as expected, the press had been in attendance. Now, they had something more to write.I walked away, headed for my car and Viktor, being a fool, followed me.“What’s wrong with you?! Why can’t you let me be!” I yelled at him. “Why! Why! Why!” I chanted, frustrated.“Just hear me out, Jess. All I’ve ever asked for is the opportunity to express how sorry I am and to let you know the full truth,” Viktor argued.I scoffed. Viktor was full of bullshit and I clocked this a long time ago. Listening to him will be the most foolish I do.“I’m not interested…”“Jeremy isn’t mine,” he blurted out.My eyes widened as I stared at him. For a moment, I was lost as I tried to understand his statement.“What do you mean by he isn’t yours?” I asked.Viktor nodded his head, his eyes portraying his hurt.I knew how much Viktor had ado

.OliverGrandpa had called for my presence back home. He got better by each passing day and now he could do little things on his own that he had not been able to do. After setting things straight at the office, I went straight home to Grandpa.I walked into his room just in time as his nurse finished administering his medication to him.“Hi Grandpa,” I said.Grandpa turned to look at me and smiled. “Come here son. I’ve missed you so much,” he said, with his arms stretched out.I didn’t hesitate in taking the hug Grandpa offered as he engulfed me in his arms with a sigh of relief. If I was being honest, I’ve missed this and for a moment I felt bad for Rowan. He had not grown up with the love and support Grandpa had showered me with. “How is Jessica? She’s not here with you?” He asked.I nodded. “She has some engagement to finish up before the day ends. Besides, you said you wanted to talk and I think you meant alone,” I replied, arching an eyebrow.Grandpa nodded his head, coughi

.Jessica I was in the kitchen making breakfast while on a call with Alicia. It had been a while since we had spoken and decided to catch up.Alicia wouldn’t stop going on and on about the new man in her life. He was a business mogul and he adored her to no end. My beautiful friend had watched me get showered with love and happiness when Ollie walked into my life. It made me happy that she was finally receiving the same love.“So, when am I meeting this man?” I asked.“Soon enough but for now, I want him all to myself,” Alicia said teasingly.I laughed out heartily and realized just how much I’ve missed her company.“Tell me babes, what’s been going on with you? How are the wedding preparations coming along?” She asked. My eyes bulged out and for a moment, my hand slipped while cutting the vegetables.“Oliver and I are taking things one step at a time. Besides, with his brother now in the picture, I need to give him more time,” I explained.“A brother? Oliver has a brother? Since

Oliver The next few days were hell as I walked into the office gloomy than I had ever been before. I still couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that Rowan and Jessica were once an item. Though it was years ago, Jessica seemed to be convinced Rowan still had feelings for her.It was pointless trying to work so I decided to do what I did best which was stalk Rowan and the best thing about being the CEO is that you had access to everything in the company, including the security cameras.I spent my time watching the CCTV, just monitoring Rowan’s movement in his office and around the company.Unfortunately for me, I was disappointed in my judgment about Rowan.Contrary to what I had believed, Rowan was making the staff do his work for him in his office and camouflaged it as them teaching him. “Mr Oliver, the board is ready to receive you,” my secretary Mary said as she poked her head out of the door.I nodded my head. “Let’s go then. I’ll need you to be present all through to take

.Oliver I tried my best to keep the tears in as I paced back and forth outside the theatre Jess was in and when a doctor walked outside, I rushed to him.“How’s she doing?” I asked.“We can’t say for now. Please excuse me,” he said and walked away.I stood waiting for hours, watching as doctors and nurses walked in and out of the theater room.“God please keep her safe for me. Please,” I whispered tiredly as I sat on the floor close to the door. The door opened again but this time I wasn’t interested to know if a nurse or a doctor had walked in or out.“Mr Oliver?” I looked up to see a male doctor with sympathy on his face.“That’s me,” I said, springing up to my feet.“Perhaps, my office?” He proposed. My heart began to thump louder as I looked at the theater room then at him. “What happened there?” I croaked out.I wasn’t sure if I could stomach the reality of losing Jess. Knowing that she had been there to save my life only to get hers sniffed away.“I assure you Miss Jessica
