Hannah’s POV:I read the message again and then decided to call Adam to confirm if he was actually outside. It was as though he read my mind because my phone rang at that moment, and all too coincidentally, it was Adam.“Hi,” I said into the phone as I picked it up.“I saw you read the message, but you didn’t respond.” He replied, his tone calm and expressionless as usual. “Aren’t you guys done with the event?”I nodded my head, forgetting he couldn’t see me. “Yes, we are.
