My eyes fluttered open. The light was so bright, it blinded me. I closed them and covered them with my hands, groaning, watching the red dots dance behind my lids. I couldn’t think of torture worse than shopping for my wedding dress. Sophia and my mother constantly bickered over which dress looked the best on me.
