Leanne Summers peered through the small window, her breath fogging the glass as her eyes landed on the distant shape of the mansion ahead.Towering and dark against the horizon, it looked almost surreal under the full moon’s glow, like something out of a gothic novel. The pale moonlight lit up the spires and windows, casting long, hungry shadows across the wild grass that danced in the plane’s wake.Leanne’s pulse quickened.
