Chapter 11: Rose had some pondering to do as Sean and her rode back to the estate. Mr. Edwards promised to contact her once he does some research of his own. Now that he has the Queen’s blessing - albeit very quietly- he can access some items and areas that he wouldn’t normally have the resources for. This obviously was exciting for Rose as she looked forward to learning who may want to hurt her father. She grasped the edge of the seat cushion in the carriage till her knuckles turned white, pondering who could wish him ill will; what type of scoundrel would want to hurt a kind old man such as Lord Duncaster?!
