Sierra's POV I was unsure of how long I had been holed up in my room, replaying those simple yet hurtful and truthful words. I didn't blame Jackson. When he was angry, he always said things and most times, it was the truth. I really ran off to hide again. I could still not stand my truth. Arthur's POV “The financial report is splendid this year,” Mr. Henderson, one of the shareholders, said with a smile, looking around the table. Others supported the motion, glancing at the report in hand. Instead of the report before me, I turned to my phone briefly and met the black screen. Disappointment washed over my face at the sight of it. “Sales has gone up since the last improvements. This Christmas has only made it better,” the sales manager said. I could only hum as my eyes yet again went to my idle phone. Not a beep or a buzz came through yet. “It seems the plan for an expansion is feasible,” I could barely keep track of what was being said. “This is what Mr. Floyd has planned for the expansion. He plans to take it slow and ensures the infrastructures are in place in due time,” Amelia, my assistant said, passing the documents round the table.

Arthur's POV I didn't stop with just one. I connected my fist so many times to his face until it was swollen and bleeding. He could barely put up a fight and no one dared helped him, or they would get some for themselves too. Grabbing him by his shirt, I gave one final blow and pushed him.He stumbled back, holding on to his bleeding and broken nose. “You…” he pointed with a sneer. “This isn't over,” he slurred.“Out of my way!” he barked at the onlookers, as he staggered out of my sight.The bartender passed me a handkerchief. My guess was right, she was too drunk. “How many bottles did she take?” I asked the bartender.“A few shots,” he responded.I sighed. “Charge it to my tab,” I told him, then held Sierra once more.
