Raees wakes before dawn, the faintest glow of sunlight bleeding through the curtains, parted slightly by the wall. Reid’s arm is still wrapped around her, heavy and warm, his breathing even as he rests his head gently against hers, but there’s a soft grip in the way his fingers are curled against her skin, like he’s holding something, most likely her, even in his sleep.She shifts carefully, turning to face him, careful not to wake him up.
