Lahat ng Kabanata ng THE GLASS WIFE; the storm he built himself : Kabanata 191 - Kabanata 200

SERENA'S POV He blinked, speechless. Attempting to rise clean and face me.But not if I could help it."You've made me dirty, so you'll be dirty too.""What? Serena I-"Take that!" I bent quickly, springing up with mud and splashing him across the shirt instantly. The brown wet substance sticking in a heartbeat, creating a striking contrast with the shininess of his shirt."That's what you get." I commented, smirking. Bending again, grabbing mud and splashing him on the chest and legs. "That too! And -*Splash!*Mud clug to my arms. My upper arms. Freezing me immediately.I turned to him, watching his hand fold up with another batch of mud. A devastatingly teasing, competitive smile on his lips."You get that too " he smirked at me, "You throw mud on me, I do so to you too.""Oh oh oh, oh my." I chuckled dramatically, dropping all mud. My head cocking to the side, cracking the bones. "You want a war little El? You want a mud war with the ultimate champion that has never lost any mud

SERENA'S POV I haven't checked my blog in a while.Haven't made a post, or responded to comments... but I opened that blog. His blog. His posts. The ones he made back then, barely two weeks ago before we came here to this resort. Those posts that had me confused and shattered at same time when I read them, realising what every word meant.I opened them. And it was his words from last night at the pool that triggered it. Not just that though...the memories of the pictures too, the games, our team, us together, on the bed...it all just pushed me to open them. I couldn't resist. Couldn't stop thinking about it all, so I opened the damned blog page. I read them all. Read them again. And again. And again. I spent my entire morning doing just that, with him cuddled up right beside me in bed. Fast asleep.I woke up to him like that, but all I could think of was... him. Us.I shouldn't. I know I really shouldn't but...I couldn't help it. I couldn't help the confusion and mixed feelings it

SERENA’S POV“He didn’t mention me? Hm?” she smirked, putting her hands down after a bit, seeing as I didn’t accept that handshake. I only watched her, my gaze skeptical. “I can understand why he didn’t though." She continued, "Why he ‘couldn’t’ mention me, no honest man would. Plus, it doesn't sound proper given your...your status. His wife.” What? You know for someone just meeting a person for the first time, her attitude? The energy on her? It was nothing to write home about, and I couldn’t hide the fact I didn’t like it. In fact, my displeasure was written all over my face, eyes furrowed. “Nice meeting you then,” I straightened, “Good day.”With that I turned around her, walking off. But still, “Did he really never mention me though?” She called out, halting my steps. “I’m asking because it is so weird, and I just heard you talking about a divorce. Are you two really getting a divorce? Finally?”Finally??Just what the-I turned around then, facing her. “Excuse me?” she smiled,

SERENA'S POV "What’s the one thing you’re unexpectedly good at?” I threw out immediately, facing him. Not a chill pill in sight, he could get offended for all I care. This was a game. And we were playing it.Kitchen's too hot for you? Get the hell out then."What’s the one thing I'm unexpectedly good at?” he repeated, watching me. The others too."Yes, let's hear it." I urged, waiting for that response. Then after a moment, “Archery.” he said, with a sigh. Looking away from me. "Archery.""Archery? You-" I started to say but,"Very good, next!" The guy cut me off immediately, spinning the can for the next person. Everyone around sitting up then, now officially ready since we'd begun the game. But my eyes only returned to him, noting his somewhat relaxed look. Meeting my eyes for a bit until,"Glen!" The next person was called out. The can faced him. Him and one of the girls in the group. "Truth or dare?""Dare," the girl said, earning corresponding approvals from the others around us

SERENA'S POV It was like electric. Every nerve of my body erupting the moment his lips touched mine. The moment he felt it, caressed and simply took everything I could possibly give. His tongue diving deeper and deeper, his hold getting rougher and rougher, as though owning me right then and there was all that mattered the most. Was all that mattered at all. And I responded. Barely having time to think anything through, or resist cause as we've established, this man sucked the breath out of me. Literally, with his lips branded on mine. I stood no chance. My brain cells were fried at this point and I knew it. But more than that, I also knew just how damn good this felt right now. How right it felt... it was so right. So, so right, gosh. I greedily pulled him closer even more. Hooking my hand in his hair, pulling, encouraging every bit of domineering energy radiating off him right now. Our teeth clashed, bodies tangling, pressed so fucking close together, saliva and greedine
