“Titan…” Aria whispered half asleep as tears rolled down her cheek. She stirred, her lashes fluttering weakly against the soft light filtering in through the half-drawn curtain. The expensive, fruity scent of air freshener filled her nostrils. Beneath her, she felt the softness of foam—nothing like the cold, hard floor of the Cell. Her eyes blinked open slowly, her vision blurry at first… until a familiar figure came into view. She blinked again, faster this time, her heart thudding faintly—like a bird trapped in a cage. “Aria…” a soft voice called. The blur sharpened. Emily?Aria’s breath caught. Her eyes widened in surprise. “Emi… Emily?”she whispered, her lips trembling, as if speaking too loudly might make the image vanish. “You are finally awake. You were talking in your sleep. How are you feeling?”Emily asked gently, sitting on the edge of the bed. Aria’s gaze darted across the large bedroom—curtains. Her lips parted in disbelief. Her hands shook as she touche

Aria stepped outside, muttering to herself, frustration bubbling up inside. “Where the hell is the main mansion?” She looked up and spotted the tallest building in the distance, about a stone’s throw from where she stood. “That must be it.” She took a deep breath and walked toward it, expecting to be grabbed, stopped, or questioned—*anything*—but none of the security guards so much as glanced her way. Countless armed men in black vests and masks patrolled the grounds, weapons in hand. Their eyes lingered on her, yet none made a move. The indifference sent a sick chill through her. “I’m used to being stared at because of my rare features, but anything related to Bloodfang makes my skin crawl.” She cursed inwardly and quickened her pace, heading straight for the massive structure ahead. Finally, she reached what she assumed was the main mansion and stepped inside. The doors weren’t even locked. As soon as she entered the grand, marble-floored lobby, her breath ca

"Who the hell is she?""Why does she look like a plastic doll?"The two belly dancers whispered to each other.Zayne stopped in front of Aria, his height towering as his shadow engulfed hers."Look who finally came to me. You left me hanging yesterday. Do you know what that can cost you?"He said flatly.Aria's eyes didn't even flicker, she simply ignored the question completely."Why is Emily here? How dare you drag an innocent woman into this, you bastard?!" she snapped angrily. The sudden outburst stunned everyone in the room. Everything fell silent. The guards paused their sexual activities, readying themselves to put Aria in her place.Their loyalty to Bloodfang was more than their sexual pleasure."I thought you'd feel less like a prisoner if she was here with you. I guess I was wrong..."Zayne replied with no expression on his face.Aria scoffed, disgust curling her lip."Less of a prisoner? You kidnapped and imprisoned me, you monster! You brought her here just to manipulate m

They reached his chambers. Zayne kicked the door open with ease and tossed Aria onto the massive king size bed as if she weighed nothing. She hit the mattress hard, bouncing once as pain shot through her limbs. The doors shut automatically behind them. Locked in. Aria glared up, her chest heaving as she watched Zayne peel off his bloodied chest, revealing his sculpted torso-muscular, broad like a Greek god got marred by angry crescents of her teeth. Six deep bite marks across his shoulder, collarbone and back. Zayne gazes down at her with a questionable look. "What are you? A wild cat in your past life?" Aria ignored him, her eyes were swollen from the tears, and her face flushed with frustration. She stared down at her hands in anger. Why can't I hurt him? Why isn't my strength enough? Why am I so weak like a rag doll when facing him? He makes all my effort look like child's play. I wanted to kill him so badly, to end him, to make my parents proud and finally show t

Seeing that she was trapped and his tongue further claimed hers, fury ignited in Aria’s veins. *How dare he?* With a snarl, she sank her teeth into his lower lip—hard. Causing his blood flooding her mouth as flesh split beneath the force of her bite. Zayne stiffened, but he didn’t pull away. Instead, his grip on her tightened, fingers tangling in her hair as if daring her to do worse. Aria yanked her head back, tearing his lip further. A red bead welled up, then spilled down his chin. His eyes burned into hers, dark with something between challenge and amusement. Aria wasn't done yet. With a sharp jerk of her body, she slammed her forehead into his nose. Zayne’s head snapped back, blood now streaming from both his lip and his nose. His grip faltered—just enough for her to wrench herself halfway free before he caught her again, his laugh a low, rough sound against her ear. "Good try, now use the thighs"he rasped, thumb swiping at the blood on his mouth. “Bloody bastard!
