In the blink of an eye, a squad of armored soldiers surrounded Aurelie. Seeing Linus, Aurelie's expression turned fearful. The knife in her hand clattered to the floor. "Who are you?" she asked. "How did you find this place?" Linus didn't answer. He glared at Aurelie, then hurried to Lilian's side. She was bleeding out, and he carefully loosened the ropes that bound her. He whispered to her, an almost imperceptible sob in his voice, "Stay with me, Lilian. I'll take you to the hospital right now." Hearing Linus' voice, Lilian forced herself to open her eyes.
