After the fight with the men Anderson had sent to capture Adrian and bring him, the main reason was so he’d reverse or do something about whatever he did that caused him to lose his ability. He had been unable to gather his Kareth past a specific limit, making him weaker than he was before. However, Adrian had returned back home with Kari’s help; he was able to contain his massive let out of Kareth. Thus, Karis couldn’t yet suppress the whole Kareth energy and had to still stay in control of Vivienne’s body, else it’d cause imbalance if he was to leave her in control of the body. He explained this was the safest way to go about it, and they’d figure something out when Adrian wakes up.At the time, Seralyth had received a message from the Queen requesting that it was an urgent matter and that she needed to speak with Adrian, but he was still asleep after three days from the fight.Suddenly, opening his eyes on the fourth day, Adrian could see a sealing above him, and his whole body see

Clara had been gone, taking care of other branches of their hospital that needed to expand and other stuff… but no one ever gave her the gist of what was actually going on here. And even now that she was back, she felt a bit left out because the only person she could’ve asked questions and heard the full story from was somewhat possessed by some strange spirit. Even more was that Steve had been acting all distant with her, and she couldn’t pinpoint what the issue was. Now, hearing that Vivienne might just die from whatever it was that they had done to her made her snap.Although she didn’t seem angry, it was hard to tell from her reaction because she wasn’t being playful at this moment either. It was frustrating enough for her as she was trying to understand why Steve had totally avoided her. Her calls didn’t go through, and now returning and getting such treatment was getting to her more than she would’ve expected.“Hey, listen Adrian. You better tell your friend or whoever he is tha

Karis extended his Kareth out to Kaelithar and Steve, sharing part of what he’d absorbed from Adrian the other day so he’d be able to let Vivienne back into her body. This was something that Karis was the first to do; in a way, it’s unheard of to share Kareth or drain it like he could—and now Adrian as well could also drain Kareth from others. It’s strange, to say the least. However, Karis paused while sharing to Kaelithar. His pause was noticed by Steve as well, as he looked toward Karis, expecting him to say something. However, the latter said nothing and continued what he was doing anyway. After some time, Karis was already done. That’s when Adrian walked into the underground basement where they were. “This should do for now. I can manage the remaining Kareth inside her so it won’t affect her,” Karis said. They all turned to Adrian, who was approaching. “Master, the

Karis understands the situation Adrian is in right now better than anyone else could’ve understood it.He once felt something similar in a way. While he’s still inside Adrian, it gets quite boring at times—so much so that he’d forcefully want to take over Adrian’s body to feel the free movement around and share part of the fun.Although this wasn’t the same as the emotional issues Adrian is having at the moment, he could say it’s similar in a way. His eagerness to get out of that space was quite the urge that drove him crazy. He did always get the feeling to just go berserk and destroy things, but since he realized that because of the close connection that Vivienne has with Adrian—and because she somewhat trusted him a bit more than usual—he’s able to access her body, since he’s a part of Adrian as well, which means he and Adrian are somewhat the same.Karis had to knock Adrian unconscious and then applied a substance that’d make him sleep, and until he figures out a way to deal with

Although it’s a good thing that Kaelithar seems to have some tricks up his sleeves, as he’d said, Steve isn’t the type to just follow such blind promises. When they’re in front of war, it wouldn’t matter whether you expected it to be simple or something easy.Given that Steve hadn’t seen whatever Kaelithar claims to have up his sleeve himself, he’s still skeptical about it.However, this mission was one that could not wait for Adrian to be in a better condition to come handle it.They needed to act fast.“I’ve a better suggestion. The success of this mission is important, so we can’t afford to lose the only chance we might get to go after Tyson. If we go this soon, he’d be unprepared since he’d still be recovering from the loss of his men that he sent to the kingdom. Although I heard that most of the numbers he sent were just clones that looked identical to each other. But still, we can’t just go like this—the two of us isn’t enough. But I do know someone I can reach, so we’d make a t
