Kate stepped out of her room fully dressed, with makeup, sandals, and a short floral dress. Lucca was waiting for her at the stairs.—Miss...—Where’s Bastien?—He’s in the car waiting for you.—Thanks... —Kate went down the stairs. There were many men in the mansion. One of them opened the car door. Bastien was sitting inside, wearing gray dress pants and a rolled-up sleeved blue shirt with the top two buttons open. His hair was still damp, and he was looking out the window. As soon as he sensed her, Bastien looked at her with a smile and stretched out his hand for her to get in.Kate got in and sat next to him. His scent surrounded her, but it wasn’t the same fragrance he wore the first time they met.—You look beautiful.—Thanks. Can I ask you something?—Of course.—You changed your perfume. It’s not the one you wore the first time I saw you.—I threw out all those perfumes. I didn’t want anything that reminded you of that night.—I see... —Suddenly, the image of Bastien in the sh

As soon as she got under the covers, the door opened and Bastien’s scent filled the room. He walked in wearing only black silk pants, shirtless, his hair wet, his body defined and perfectly sculpted. His honey-colored eyes looked at her as if he wanted to devour her—and the sweetest part, he held a rose in his hand.— Hello, beautiful. This is for you.— Bastien… — Kate swallowed hard. His body looked perfect. Completely perfect. Bastien placed the rose on the nightstand and sat beside her. Kate smiled.— It's beautiful — she took it and smelled it — Where did you get it?— I have my sources — Bastien took her hand and kissed it. His lips were warm, and the contact sent a shiver straight to her legs. Immediately, the image of his naked, wet body pleasuring himself in the shower flashed in her mind. Her cheeks flushed.— Are you nervous? Tell me… do I make you nervous?— Bastien, stop it. You know very well that you do. Don’t tease me. — Bastien leaned in, his minty breath brushing aga

—Do you want to take a shower? Let’s shower together —Bastien said, looking at Kate.—Together?—Is there anything we haven’t already seen? Why hide from me? I memorized your body last night.Kate blushed. She still wasn’t used to Bastien’s blunt way of speaking.—Come on, I promise I’ll behave.—Every time you promise that… you do things...—What things? Tell me, I want to hear.Kate blushed again. Bastien adored her shyness and loved making her flush.—You know… —Kate hid against his chest, avoiding his amber eyes.—Come on, let’s go… —Bastien took her hand. Kate slowly got out of bed, completely naked. Bastien looked her up and down. Instinctively, she covered her breasts, which made him smile. He stepped closer, gently pulled her hands away, and tilted her chin up.—Don’t hide from me. You’re beautiful, and I already know every curve of your body. For example, right here —he touched her thigh— there’s a little mole I loved discovering.—Bastien…—Shhh… let’s go —he whispered. He l

After they finished breakfast, Bastien stood up.—Darling, I have to check some documents with Lucca. You can go to the pool if you want to swim.—Alright —Bastien kissed her lips.—I love you, precious.Kate smiled. Bastien headed to the office, which had a window that looked directly out to the pool. Kate began walking through the gardens, and Bastien kept watching her from the window.—Boss, boss… Bastien!—Huh? Yeah, what is it?—Bastien, you’re not paying attention. You’re just staring at Kate. This is important—how will you get her out of the country?—I haven’t talked to her yet, but get her a visa and all the documents she needs to travel within two days.—Understood.—Book tickets to Milan. I’ll go with her alone. You’ll stay in charge.—Perfect.Kate wandered through the garden and sat by the edge of the pool, playing with her feet in the water. She tried to stand up but slipped and fell in.—Kate!Bastien ran outside and dove into the pool fully clothed. Kate had gone comple

Kate was sleeping in his arms, while Bastien couldn't wipe the smile off his face. His beloved Kate had told him she loved him. He stroked her hair, her back... having her naked in his arms had been a dream for many years. She was sleeping deeply. Bastien adjusted her gently on the bed, covered her, wrapped a towel around his waist, and went to his room to get dressed. He smiled as he noticed the love mark Kate had left on his neck in the mirror.—I know you're mine, Kate… and soon you'll say it out loud, my sweet Kitty. He put on black trousers and a black shirt, with the top two buttons undone and sleeves rolled up, just like always. He left his room and returned to hers. She was still asleep. He kissed her forehead and went down to his office. Lucca was sitting there, going through some documents.—Sir…—News?—Well… my boss fulfilled his dream of sleeping with his childhood love.—Oh, are we funny today? I’ll send you to a nightclub to try stand-up comedy.—Well, boss, I thought y
