LILIAN’S POV I expected a reaction from Wilson after I told him. I had expected him to be shocked and even a little angry. But not the way he had looked at me, like I was an evil witch, like I had suddenly become someone entirely different. It didn't make sense to me because everything I had done was for us, for our future, for the life we were supposed to have together without anything dragging him back. So when he just stood there, staring at me like that, like I had crossed some unforgivable line, I didn’t understand it, I still didn't. I paced around the room as I tried to make sense of his reactions. He hadn’t shouted, he hadn’t even said much after that initial reaction. He seemed devastated. And it made me even more irritated. Why was he acting like I had ruined something important when all I had done was make sure that he wouldn’t be tied down to a woman he never even wanted in the first place? Why did he care about that bitch and her offspring? He should have been happy
