Semua Bab Alpha’s Regret: The Return Of The Betrayed Luna : Bab 41 - Bab 50

THE BOLD AND DEFIANTJAX’S POV“I am not leaving this pack, no matter what you do,” I said to Manny, looking him in the eyes.Manny scoffed, looking around like he wanted everyone to hear what I was saying. “You can throw me out of your house, that is fine but as a member of this pack I am choosing to stay here until I am ready to leave.” Manny’s eyes narrowed in a glare as he stepped closer to me. “Can you imagine? Who do you think you are to speak to me in that manner? If I want you out of this pack do you really think there is anything you can do to stop me?”“Of course not, but everyone in this pack already knows that I am your brother. So if you chase me out now, claiming that I am a rogue, what makes you think that the pack wouldn’t question your own position as Alpha?” I asked him and he went silent immediately, regarding what I said.“This is why I never wanted us to allow these sorts of people here in the first place,” Clara said from behind him, placing a soothing hand on M

INTO THE BATTLEFIELD LEXI'S POV“What?” I asked him, still shocked. Was he actually serious?“I know you miss leadership and you must have been bored since you got here so I want you to go back to doing something you like,” Manny replied, his eyes softening on mine. I stared at him in surprise, not sure what to say in response. I didn’t know whether to be glad that he did something so nice or wary of his intentions. Now that he had separated me from Jax, he was giving me such a position? Was he trying to get himself back in my good books? “Why are you doing this?” I asked him, giving him a suspicious look.Manny stepped closer to me, his eyes holding an unreadable expression. “Can’t you tell?” he asked, his breath fanning my nose.I looked into his eyes and saw a glimpse of the Manny I fell in love with, the charming Manny who I had wanted to spend the rest of my life with.“I want you back Lexi,” he said suddenly, his words knocking the breath out of my chest. “I want us to go b

REUNITED WITH A FRIENDLEXI’S POVJax opened the door, surprised to see me. “Lexi? What are you doing here?”I pushed past him and stepped inside, sighing deeply.“Sorry I dropped in like this, I just wanted to see you,” I said, looking into his worried expression.Jax smiled and pulled me into his arms in a warm hug and I sighed deeply, hugging him back. Why did things have to be like this? Being with Jax always brought me so much peace while being with Manny made me feel like ripping my hair out.I should have chosen Jax by now, he was the obvious option anyway, so why did I still feel like I was tied to Manny? Manny told me that he wanted me back, that he wanted us to try again, but did I really want to stay here? In this pack where all I had ever gotten was suspicion and hatred.“Mommy?!” Nia’s voice suddenly called and I broke away from the hug with Jax and carried Nia into my arms, hugging her tightly.“My sweet girl,” I said smiling, “how have you been?” “I am fine Mommy, I

MIDNIGHT ADVENTURES LEXI’S POVI stormed back into my room, slamming the door shut after my confrontation with Manny. Why did he have to always bring out the worst in me? I had felt calm after seeing Jax only to come back here and get aggravated againWhat did he mean by I should stop seeing Jax? What exactly gave him the right to be so entitled to me? My heart was still hammering and I told myself that it was because I was angry right now, definitely not because the way Manny had looked at me earlier.I didn’t care about that man, I told myself. I didn’t care if he wanted me to stay with him, all I wanted to do was to leave this pack with my sons. Why did thinking of leaving feel like I was betraying myself somehow? Why was it that anytime I thought about Manny, a familiar ache settled in my chest.I didn’t even care about him so why did I feel that way? “Our mate bond has been broken for a long time now so I have no responsibilities to that man,” I whispered to myself, like I

A SECRET PLOYLEXI’S POVThe papers I had spent all night organizing and arranging had turned brown and wet with Clara’s coffee.“Shit,” I hissed angrily, ignoring the burning sensation of the spilled coffee on my hand as I scrambled to pick them up.Clara bent down, basically carrying the papers in such a way that they tore. “Can you stop!” I yelled at her angrily. Clara gave me a stunned look, having the audacity to look hurt. “I was only trying to help.”“Well your stupid help is only making things worse,” I snapped at her.“What is all this Lexi? What are these papers?” Manny asked, from his tone I could tell that he was still angry about last night.“They were supposed to be evidence,” I mumbled, feeling irritated. This wasn’t how I planned to come to him at all, now if I told him of my suspicions without appropriate evidence, he was going to think that I was crazy.“They are just important pack documents that I wanted to show you but now Clara has ruined them,” I complained
