The twisting vines took deep roots in the grounds and extended forward, toward the people at the clearing. Everyone was swept off their feet and it felt like a force was holding them down. They were thrown in confusion and no one knew what to do.They soon saw the roots approaching them gradually and the more it moved toward them, the more they felt their bodies being pressed to the ground. It was like it was holding them so they wouldn’t escape until it had gotten to them and then whatever happens, happens.By that time, the only thing connecting Julianne to her body was a thin line that could snap at any moment. She could feel someone’s hand on her back, or maybe, someone was trying to reach her, but she couldn’t turn or do anything. Everything and everyone she loves are already gone.
