Nyx POV“The wolves were the first to spill the blood of our own” my mother said, pacing around like a storm wrapped in skin. “And if we don’t answer it this, we show weakness.”I stood still in the Queen’s war chamber, my jaw clenched, My heart pounding harder than I wanted to admit.A wolf claw.In a vampire’s chest.And Raiden’s scent still burned in my lungs.“I want them punished,” Mother snapped. “I want their Alpha on his knees.
