VICTORIAThe disadvantages of being born after things have gone to hell was not nice. One found themselves frightened by the sight of a wolf. We were werewolves, the sight of them should have been exciting to me. why was it that I feared that one? Beta Tylor said it was alpha Jackson. The eyes resembled those of Jackson’s, but I couldn’t see anything beyond the fear. How did he shift anyway, I thought we didn’t shift anymore, how did he do it? I was walking absent mindedly in the garden when someone grabbed my arm. I got such a fright that the first thing that came to mind was the babies. My hand went to my stomach covering it. “It must be nice being you, isn’t it?” that was Elisa. I didn’t want to fight with her. if I were not pregnant then I would have been more than willing to fight her, especially after the alpha told me I could fight for myself.“Now you can ignore me when I am talking to you.” I still said nothing and continued walking as she walked beside me. “You know Victoria

VICTORIAI tried getting out of bed, but Jackson held me in place. I was really angry, people in that pack deserved nothing from me for how they had treated me in the past three years. Why did I have to think about them?“I understand you are angry, and your anger is justified. Both the pack and I did you wrong, I get that.” He got up and sat in front of me. “I know what we have done was wrong and I know that it will take time for you to forgive us. I am sorry, Victoria.”When he spoke, and the way he looked was sincere, but the issue was that it was hard to believe him. What Elisa said to me, she couldn’t have known any of it unless Jackson told her. I wanted to take his word and believe he had a plan for me, but it was hard.“I don’t want to lose you, Victoria. You don’t know how hard it was for me to even ask you to my room that day.” I frowned, what the hell was he talking about? He was so mean to me that day. “I loved you from a distance for a long time.” My eyes widened in shock

LUCIENI gave them time; I didn’t go there when I said I would as I was giving my friend time to sort his deal out. Now it was time to see the woman who was going to carry the next generation of our kind. She must have been something special for the Moon Goddess to choose her out of everyone to save our kind.Arriving at the pack, I dropped my warrior at his usual spot to meeting with the she-wolf who had been feeding us information then continued to drive into the pack. She had been good and consistent in the information supply,She recently told us the Jackson was planning to hide her, the selfish bastard! Where the hell did, he think we were going to get heirs if he hid the only person who could help us? It was never going to happen though. Vincenzo and I had people in his pack watching. The moment he decided to leave with her, we would know. I didn’t tell them I was coming, a surprise was good, so they didn’t get a chance to hide her. The warriors at the gate must have informed th

VICTORIAIt became clear very quickly to me that I was the reason for those random shifts those alphas were going through. First it was Jackson and now Lucien. Those men or anyone of our kind had not been able to shift in many years. Now, suddenly, they were shifting, and they were doing it when I was in close proximity to them.Which led me to believe that their shifts had something to do with me. I might have been thinking too highly of myself, but the evidence was there. How it came to be, I didn’t know but it was happening. “Beta Tylor, can I ask you a question and you give me an honest answer?” he looked at me.He was a man of few words, “Have you ever felt the need to shift when you are near me?” the beta didn’t even hesitate. “No, but my wolf is more alive when I am around you than ever before. He talks more now and gets excited when we visit you. don’t get me wrong, I don’t have romantic feelings for you but my wolf likes being around you.”Interesting! Couldn’t have been that

VICTORIAFour months have passed; I was heavily pregnant and found it hard to move around. We ended up letting alpha Lucien visit every week as he wanted to. He was laying at my feet as I sat in the balcony enjoying the fresh air. Jackson got used to him and was now being used as my protector. Which he didn’t mind because it meant he was going to spend more time by my side.Laying at my feet like a dog. No alpha has come in the last four months, and I was thankful for that. it meant alpha Lucien and alpha Vincenzo didn’t run their mouths. They kept the secret and I was more than grateful. Now we only had to outsmart two alphas instead of twenty or thirty alphas who were going to be out for blood. He yawns stretching. He was very shocked to hear that I didn’t have a wolf when he first came and requested, we go for a run. I don’t know what happened, but the lazy wolf suddenly stood looking around. He then jumped off the balcony and landing on all fours on the ground then ran off leaving
