PenelopeI was on my way to my Grandpa's house. Immediately after I was done speaking to Oliver on the phone, I got ready and left the house after telling Tyrell's Grandfather where I was heading since he was the only one at home aside from the workers. "Sis," surprise took over Oliver's features as he saw me after he opened the door. "Hi." I sighed walking into the room and plopping on the couch. "I didn't know you were going to come," Oliver said after he shut the door and ambled back into the room."I had to, after hearing such news. Is Grandpa upstairs?" I inquired.Oliver shook his head,"No, he isn't. He wasn't home when I got back from school." "Do you think he went to see Dad after hearing the news?""No, probably not. Grandpa would never go to see him Dad, trust me he wouldn't give a damn about what happens between Mom and Dad." Oliver replied. Oliver was right. My Grandpa and my Dad never got along, they used to get along until my Dad remarried after my mom passed away.

PenelopeI didn't know if my Dad was going to prefer me not picking up his calls or picking up his calls and keeping silent till he hung up. After picking up his call two days ago, I didn't say a word I just listened to him speak until he hung up. He was pleading with me to come see him at the hospital he was at because he had some things he wanted to say to me. I did the same thing again when he called yesterday.Several thoughts flooded my mind, I was mad at my Dad for his inhumane treatment towards me all these years but yet again I could remember those days I prayed for things to change and it seemed as though it was an answered prayer or maybe the man was trying to take advantage of my kindness thinking I would run to him and take care of him simply because he called me. I knew for a fact that it wasn't remorse for his action but guilt and shame because his beloved wife and favourite daughter had abandoned him. And now he remembered the daughter he abandoned and neglected for yea

PenelopeWife! The sound of hearing Tyrell call me that was bad music to my ears. I wondered if had gone insane, just a day away and he had lost it. A peal of laughter left his lips making me stare at him in puzzlement."Don't tell me you took that seriously? It was a joke," he said amidst laughter. "You really think I care about you or your whereabouts? Don't flatter yourself." He uttered putting on a serious face as his laughter died down.I gave him a look of vexation, "Why on earth should I care about something as insignificant as that? I only came here to tell you to stay away from my...." "Business," he interrupted chuckling. My chest clenched and I rolled my eyes at him. Tyrell was fucking annoying and speaking to him was a total waste of my time. "Is there anything else you would like to say?" He asked raising a brow at me. After one more fleeting annoyed gaze directed at Tyrell, I scooted out of the study slamming the door in the process just to spite him. It was anothe

Penelope "Please say something, you've been silent. Not a tear and not a word." Layla's face was pale with worry as she glanced at me.I glanced at Oliver and Layla who were seated by my sides. Oliver was crying quietly, tears rolled down his cheeks. Layla averted her eyes from me to Oliver, she wrapped her around arms him hugging him and patting his back comfortingly. Why was life this way? Just when things were starting to be okay between me and my Dad, he died. First I lost my Mom when I was just seven and now my Dad too was dead, I was an orphan now. "Sis, can you say something?" Oliver mumbled shifting his eyes to me. He wiped the tears that were on his face and crouched in front of me. "Oliver call your Grandpa," Layla muttered and Oliver nodded in agreement, he took his phone out of his pocket and dialled Grandpa, and soon he was speaking to him on the phone. Layla put her arm around my shoulder pulling me to her and she stroked my back in a comforting manner.Days Later...

Penelope"What are you both doing here?" I questioned seeing that both of them had suddenly become mute.Richard was staring at me in disbelief while Mireya's lips raised slightly in scorn and she glared at me. My eyes darted to her stomach, I think she noticed me looking because she put a hand on her tummy immediately and let out a small wince. Worry took over Richard's face and he wrapped his arms around her waist while the other one was on her back. "Are you okay?" He asked. Mireya glanced at me before answering," Yeah, the baby kicked."I saw Richard's face lit up with a smile, he kissed Mireya's cheek and she cupped his face leaning closer to him and she kissed him. I could feel disgust rising in my stomach making me twist my mouth as I watched them suck on each other's lips and have a taste of each other's saliva right in front of me.She was doing that to get a reaction out of me but I wasn't willing to give her that satisfaction, not now or ever! I could feel disgust rising
