Aria’s POVAfter an unexpected nap in the tub, I got out and dried off. My wounds were still healing, albeit slowly, probably due to the silver. I dug around in the closet until I found something somewhat presentable to wear. There was no way they were catching me off guard again. I slipped on the pair of black leather pants and the white tee shirt that I found, and I dug until I found some black combat boots.Feeling much better than earlier, I wandered around the room, wondering what I could do while I awaited the next trial. My stomach growled and I figured that maybe I should wander back to the fifth floor to scavenge for some food.I left the room and strode to the elevator with a confidence I didn’t feel. I couldn’t believe that I already lost the first trial. Would the others be physically torturous? Or would they test my mind?
