AUTHOR'S POV Zoey didn’t just run out of the room—she bolted as if a ghost had shoved her spine. Getting into the elevator, she slammed into her mother, Mei—who was on her way to Charlotte’s room. She immediately hit the buttons. Mei blinked, surprised. “Zoey, you took the keys of the hotel room given to. Charlotte, didn’t you?” But Zoey had not even caught her breath. “I did.
