Lahat ng Kabanata ng A Deal With Mr.Remington: Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

JASMINE POV I didn’t know what to do anymore at this stage. Why was everything happening all at once without giving her a break? My head was spinning so much that she felt it would crash. My fingers kept shaking. I stared at my phone, the same message still glowing on the screen.“One hour for you to tell the world you really cheated on Blake and charmed him into marriage, or the world will see how b****y you are.” "Just a reminder, 59 minutes more." And the fifty nine minutes had turned into fifty minutes so fastMy heart jumped again and my hands dropped the phone. It hit the table with a soft thud. Julia picked it up and placed it far from me."Don’t look at it again, Jasmine. Don’t." Her voice was firm but I could hear the worry in it.I rubbed my eyes. "Maybe I should do what they said. Maybe I should go live and say I cheated. Maybe that’ll end all this. Maybe all this hate and the people and their madness would die down"Julia spun around quickly and gave me a stern look. "Wha

Blake POV The music was loud and lights flashed everywhere. People danced and drank like they had no worries. Of course it was expected, I was in a nightclub. And what do people do in nightclubs? I sat at the far end of the club, in the VIP section, holding a glass of strong drink. My phone buzzed again. I glanced at it, it was another business call. Answering it was not in my agenda at the moment. And caring if I'd miss an important thing wasn't the least of my worries. I just wanted to drink. I wanted to forget everything for a while because everything felt too much.I had just finished watching that video. The one everyone was talking about. The one that got my attention, and got the internet riled up again, the one that got the staff murmuring words anytime I pass by. The one of Jasmine. I watched it three times and my head hurt from watching it. I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t want to believe it. But it was right there. Jasmine in a group sex video."What the hell," I whispered

Jasmine POV I looked at my phone again. My dad’s name was all over the missed calls and unread messages. He had been trying to reach me for days. Maybe weeks. I just couldn’t answer. I couldn’t face him. I didn’t know what to say. I didn’t want to hear him tell me he was ashamed. I didn’t want him to ask questions I couldn’t answer. But tonight, something in me shifted. I didn’t want to hide anymore. I didn’t want to cry in corners or lie in bed all day. I didn’t want to be afraid of the people who said mean things or looked at me like I was dirt.I picked up my phone and opened the text box. My fingers moved slowly.“Coming home. See you soon.”I hit send before I changed my mind.I stood up from the bed and walked to the wardrobe. I didn’t want to dress like I was going to a red carpet. I didn’t want to look too clean or too rough. I just wanted to feel covered and safe..I pulled out a pair of black jeans. Tight but comfortable. I grabbed a black hoodie too and some ankle boots. I

Blake's POV I sat on the couch for a long time without moving. I just stared at nothing and thought. Everything felt messed up. My life felt wrong. I didn’t even know what Jasmine was doing now. I hadn’t heard anything from her.The press had been loud with the video and the news. The people and comments were all over every social media. But she stayed quiet. There was no post from her company PR team nor was one from her. Her page was blank and she has lost lots of follower's. She didn’t come out to give any talk regarding the released video. She just went silent. None of the staff had seen her in the company either when the video got released. It was like she had vanished. Like she didn’t want anything to do with me anymore. Like she wants nothing to do with the country.I rubbed my face. I felt tired. I haven't had one moment of peace since Jessica moved into the house. It was from one issue to another. I thought about the peace I felt when I was living with Jasmine. Even though t

Jasmine's POVI had barely sat down in my office when Julia burst in like she was being chased after squealing outside the door. She didn’t knock or wait, just flew through the door with her hair flying behind her and the office tab in her hand. She screamed so loud again that I almost fell out of my chair.“What is wrong with you?” I asked, frowning.“This needs a celebration!” she shouted, waving the tab. “Like, right now!”I blinked at her. “What are you talking about?”She ran to me, pushed the tab into my hands. “Just look! Read it! Read everything! Oh my God!”I looked down and saw Blake’s post. I started reading slowly at first, but then my heart beat faster and faster with every line. Blake had written the whole truth. He said everything. He admitted his mistakes. He said he regretted not trusting meI couldn’t hold it anymore. My eyes filled with tears, and I let them fall. I covered my mouth and cried.Julia screamed and jumped, then hugged me so tight I could barely breathe
