SERAPHINA’S POV.Auren got me back into the academy just before the morning bell. I was still a mess, My clothes half-wrinkled, my hair a tangle, my head pounding from the lack of sleep but he didn’t comment on any of that. He just walked next to me quietly, hands in his pockets, his eyes forward, the same way he always did when he was trying not to say something he really wanted to.
