The pen Lena held trembled in her hands as she sat on the kitchen table, the dim light casted a faint shadow over the dirvoce papers spread out before her.She found it hard to breath as she weight of her decision pressed down on her chest. She used her free hand to rub her temples as she set down the pen she held earlier. Lena had spent the last one hour and thirty minutes staring at the dirvoce papers, reading through the jargons stated on it that she barely understood. The only thing she understood was that if she signed it, it would be the end of her marriage. Why now? The sky rumbled loudly as rain battered against the windows, echoing through the house like a warning.Grayson sat on the white couch, his hair still damp from the shower he just had. TWO DAYS LATERLena couldn't sleep all night, she had been throwing up, and this morning, she was beginning to feel sick. She found it hard to get herself off from her bed, so she just laid there, tired. The sound of her ringing phone got her turning around to reach for it on her nightstand. She checked the caller ID and saw that it was her Mother that was calling her. She quickly picked up the call and placed it on her ear."Good morning, Mum." After watching the shocking news on the television, Lena immediately went to take her drugs from the pharmacy and decided to stop by at the restaurant Grayson worked at. She tried calling his number when she was still at the hospital, but it went to voicemail.At the restaurant, she asked some of his colleagues, but they said they hadn't seen him in two days now. When the Ceremony was over, Lena was still seated in her spot, lost in thoughts as she stared at nothing in particular.
