KillerSince we were still on lockdown and we needed Dexter around, we decided to let him stay. It was also an excuse to get Storm away from my sister for a bit. When Texas gets back to us, he stares at Diamond a beat too long.“You don’t look napped to me.” His observation makes Dexter snort. “It was more of a rescue mission. She was so desperate to get away her bag was already packed, and she was waiting by the front door.”Texas shakes his head, “I like a willing lady.”Diamond smiles jumping in the front of the SUV.“I’m Diamond, howdy there cowboy.” Her flirtatious tone doesn’t phase Texas.Texas tips his hat, as Dexter and I slam the doors shut.“Heading straight?”“Nope. We’ll be stopping to see my dearie old sister at the hospital.” I frown at her mention of THE WORD sister. Guess she wasn’t going to hide it. I found her sudden change suspicious at best.“It’s late out, I don’t think that would be possible tonight. Maybe we head on over there, first light.” Texas was

DiamondIf I were to understand every particle position in everything we’ve come to know, to be able to master every molecule known to man, to understand the laws of not just physics but the quantum world, I would be a god. A living one that bleeds like the rest of them. For years I’ve consumed myself, in well myself. I’m selfish like that. The things I’ve created, designed, mastered, and destroyed have always primarily been for my benefit. To many people, I’m the crazy mad genius, and after years of insults, I took over the role while preparing for my ultimate future.“I wasn’t always like this you know,” I say to my reflection, sitting by the white wooden princess dresser brushing my golden hair. The army wanted to cut my hair. Psst, as if they could ever touch me? I shudder at the thought.I don’t focus on the past unless I’m trying to find answers, but seeing the old faces, namely Kylie, Killer, and Snake, I FIND MYSELF DOING JUST THAT. What a waste of precious time.“Kylie,

Killer“True, fall, act sims.” I frown at her wording, the doctor warned me about her delirium. What she thought she was saying wasn’t exactly what she meant to say. She had at least 4 months of rehab ahead of her.Although internet searches said she would be brain dead or in a vegetation form, I’m not surprised to see she’s coherent. In her mind she understands everything. After Diamond explained a few medical 'need to knows', I’m finding it harder to believe she was in an actual coma for that long. Something wasn’t right and I was going to figure out what made it wrong.“You good?”She nods her head.“Good, because if it weren’t for your sister, you’d be dead.”I’m not sure why I say it but a part of me is angry, and I can’t seem to silence the sentiment. I had shit with the club.My sister didn’t want to talk to me. My mother threw a hissy fit this morning when she heard from Marcus that I didn’t send Kaleb to Liston Hills.Dexter was egging me on since last night. And Diam

Killer“Lucca didn’t take me because Sienna sold Beggar out, he took me because of his hatred for Vincent. He hated Vincent, because of what happened with Catrina. He hated Vincent because he was madly in love with his best friend's girl.”“That was years ago, why hold a grudge for a woman he sold like cattle?”“You tell me. Why are you holding your wife accountable for something you just heard.”“Exactly, I just heard. Whereas you knew and you watched me marry her. What the actual fuck Frost?” I can't explain the anger I’m feeling, the need to wrap my fingers around Sienna’s neck and watch the life drain slowly from her eyes. The battle I’m facing knowing it will only worsen this thing inside me makes it difficult.“It was my truth to tell, my secret to reveal. I had a choice and I chose not to.” She is screaming, this isn't the way or place I wished to do this. But fuck, my sister never thought beyond her idea of right and wrong.“Then let me make mine.”“You can’t choose with

Sienna Dr. Morgan was generous on the eyes. He was bulky and had 6 feet on him with massive hands that could make any woman squirm. But not Diamond. My sister was on a mission. Her success? Still waiting to be determined.“How much did he pay you?” Diamond goes straight on to attack mode. Snake shakes his head, warning her from his vantage point by the bathroom wall. She ignores him, and I hope my face silently begs the doctor to go easy on her.Diamond takes a small step closer to Dr. Morgan. She is way past his boundary line.“Why is it so important for us to move her now? You guys were happy with her staying here. Kanla is small but we have one of the best rehabilitation therapists in the State here.” He isn’t going to budge. Killer offered him something more precious than money. Everyone in this room knows it by the doctors refusal to co-operate.“Really? Because I think your hospital sucks. And I had permission from higher up.”“Well, your permission is not high enough. So try a
