Lucian's POV I furrowed my brows in confusion. "Which prisoner escaped?”“The one from Moonblood your Highness.”"What did you just say?" I asked the guard again to be sure I heard him clearly. He gulped visibly, his lips trembling under my gaze as he stuttered. "The prisoner h-has escaped from the..." Without letting him finish, I moved him out of the way and hurried to the dungeon to see for myself. The cell door where Eric had been locked up was wide open with no sign of him. I examined the gates and noticed that there was no struggle whatsoever which only meant that the door was opened so he could escape. I instantly sensed that Eric must have gotten help from somebody but how did he move past the guards?"Is Kade aware of this?" Lucian's POV Three days had gone by since Eric escaped from the prison and went missing. We have searched everywhere for him but have remained unsuccessful, it was as if he suddenly disappeared without a trace. The guards were questioned the next day about Eric's escape but they denied knowing anything about it. They could not even come up with a good explanation as to why they were knocked out when Eric escaped. I locked them up, intending to teach them a lesson to never take my instructions for granted ever again. I sent a letter to the spy in Moonblood Pack asking him of Eric's whereabouts and if there was any news of him in the pack.
